Will there be another season of Goliath? According to SpoilerTV, Amazon has renewed the TV show for a third season.
The legal drama stars Billy Bob Thornton as Billy McBride, a washed-up lawyer who takes on the major corporate firm he helped create. The show’s cast also includes Maria Bello, William Hurt, Olivia Thirlby, Sarah Wynter, and Molly Parker.
Although Amazon has not officially announced a season three renewal for Goliath, SpoilerTV says production is slated to begin this fall.

I loved S1 (the cast and story was stellar). I didn’t like season 2 and the journey into the grotesque and dark graphic violence. I’ll watch S3 with the hope S2 was an anomaly, and hope to see Billy and Patti back in the court room and their wily lawyering.

I will be eagerly awaiting season 3. I never loved Billy Bob Thornton till now and the rest of the cast is amazing. I want to go have a drink with Patti because she rocks that role!
Best writing and acting on television. I’ll definitely be watching, and hoping that season 2 might be continued into season 3! I CANNOT WAIT!!
To be truthful I think they need to finish season 2 before they start season 3 I’m sitting here still lost as to what was the story line about. Season 1 was brilliant

Despite season 2 being somewhat of a letdown after the clearly superior debut, I still look forward to future seasons, for while likely aware of it themselves, as well knowing that many a great series has had a weaker season or two throughout its run, I sense the talented group involved with this production are prepared to hit another one out of the Park with season 3.
I agree. They went for grotesque & camp in this season, whereas Season 1 was totally believable. Hoping Season 3 skips the grotesque and the camp and sticks to a believable detective crime story.

Season 1 was quite good, but season 2? The worst season ending episode of any series ever. My overall feeling was THERE GO SEVERAL HOURS OF MY LIFE. I do not believe I will bother with a third season.
