Hatched is coming back. Recently, it was announced the syndicated TV series will return for a second season on September 17th.
The show features “budding entrepreneurs pitch their brands to a panel of business and retail moguls.” The new season includes investors Courtney and Carter Reum, HSN’s Dara Trujillo, and celebrity judges like Lance Bass.

Los Angeles, CA. (September 17, 2016) – Hatched, a nationally-syndicated TV series where budding entrepreneurs pitch their brands to a panel of business and retail moguls is coming back for a second season with new experts, more innovative companies, and a new show format. Serial entrepreneurs and investors, Courtney and Carter Reum, will lead the panel this season.
“We love helping companies go from small idea to large, profitable company,” says Courtney Reum, who left Goldman Sachs to launch his own company, which was acquired last year. Courtney’s brother, Carter, echoed Courtney, “Hatched is not just about discovering the next big consumer brand, but playing a formative role in growing the next big consumer brand. We view the television show as the first step in creating a best-in-class platform to accelerate the businesses, which are part of the Hatched family leveraging our media, corporate, and retailer partners. Prior to Hatched, shows have failed to capitalize on the opportunity to scale these businesses after they appear on-air, but we see this as the opportunity and think the entrepreneurs who appear on an episode will feel the same!”
M13, Carter and Courtney’s new investment and brand development company is just one of the new partners on the show. Also new to Season 2 are Dara Trujillo of the Home Shopping Network (HSN), as well as Victor Green and Steve Seigel, two prolific investors who will go undercover and surprise the entrepreneurs as they showcase their brands and stories, in the hopes of unlocking once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to scale their businesses.
Each episode will also feature a prominent guest mentor – from successful entrepreneurs, to Fortune 500 CEOs and celebrity investors. Unlike many other shows, each episode of Hatched focuses on one brand in an exciting new category and the entrepreneur pitches their products to the panel of mentors before putting them to the test at the retail pop-up challenge. Once the mentors analyze consumer feedback, the contestant returns for a final discussion on the products’ potential for investment, popularity and growth before they decide whether to invest and help them grow in to a household name.
Hatched is created by Mark Koops, Anthony Samadani and Andrew Kavovit and executive produced by INE Entertainment’s Mark Koops, Eric Day and Sheva Mokarram. Season 1 led to critical and commercial success with the winning of a Telly and Parent’s Choice award, and the successful placement of companies into leading retailers including Walmart and Kroger.
