DirecTV has renewed their new Kingdom TV series for 20 episodes. It’s unclear if they will be considered seasons two and three but half will air next fall and the other 10 will run sometime in 2016. Production on the new episodes will begin in the spring.

Set in a mixed martial arts gym in Venice, California, Kingdom revolves around the family that runs it and the gym’s members. The show stars Nick Jonas, Kiele Sanchez, Matt Lauria, Jonathan Tucker, and Frank Grillo.

Two episodes of the first season of Kingdom have aired so far. They run on Wednesday nights on the provider’s Audience Network channel.
