canceled + renewed TV shows - TV Series Finale

Legends: Season Two Ratings

Published: December 30, 2015

Legends TV show on TNT: ratings (cancel or renew?)Last year, despite the fact that the first season of Legends did very poorly in the ratings, TNT renewed it for a second season anyway. The producers have given the series a creative overhaul in hopes of attracting more viewers. Will it work or will the changes alienate the viewers they had? Cancelled or renewed for a third season? Stay tuned.

Based on the award-winning book by spy novelist Robert Littell, Legends follows Martin Odum (Sean Bean), an undercover agent who can transform himself into a different person for each case. Others in the cast this season are Winter Ave Zoli, Steve Kazee, Aisling Franciosi, Kelly Overton, Klara Issova, and Ralph Brown. Last season castmember Morris Chestnut will guest star in several episodes.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

12/15 update: TNT has cancelled Legends after two seasons.

Final season averages: 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 570,000 total viewers.

Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.

For comparisons: The first season of Legends averaged a 0.33 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.53 million total viewers.

A&E | ABC | AMC | Bravo | CBS | CMT | The CW | FOX | Freeform | FX | FXX
Hallmark | HBO | History | MTV | NBC | OWN | Showtime | Starz | Syfy | TBS

I’ve watched and read many crime related movies, shows and books…This show is FANTASTIC!
I don’t have TNT, so I just watched the first season on Netflix. Sean Bean is absolutely compelling in all of his “characters” in the show. The supporting cast is a very good compliment to Bean.
The stories are excellent, as well as the writing…
It would be a shame to let this gem slip into oblivion.
PLEASE keep it going!!!

LEGENDS just blew me away. I found myself glued to the screen like never before. The show is PERFECTION, Sean Bean is in a class of his own for his truthfulness and acting finesse,

This show must go on.

I liked the first season. Sean Bean is fantastic but I have not been able to get into season 2. The multiple time lines, flashbacks and flashforward. I will no longer watch but for the sake of the talented actors I hope it finds its audience.

We loved this show from the very beginning. Sean Bean is one of the best actors of our time! TNT needs to keep this show and invest in its future. Did I mention Sean Bean is sublime?

I just finished watching Legends on Netflix. I watch all of S1:E1-10 in 3 days. I absolutely loved it! I will be extremely disappointed if the show did not continue.
Legends is very captivating and it keeps me wanting for the next episode. I’ve decided to watch on Netflix so that I can do just that. Great acting, wonderfully written and directed! I will be watching as long as you let me! Please continue this exciting TV series! ~ Martha Lundy ~ 48328

Keep this show going the audience will grow. Personally I think Sean Bean needs to help or fix something in each episode. Even small, I can already tell you there going to drag out the Kate fiasco. God the writing could be so much better for the fantastic way Sean Bean plays the characters. He has to come back to the US and take out Vertex or whatever there called now… T$T needs to snag Jonathan Nolan and J.J. Abrams. Wow wouldn’t they make a hit with these actors?

All other action/suspense actors pale in comparison to Sean Bean. The twists, turns & on location filming of Legends is an intriguing hour of television. Bury the reality crap, it’s way beyond overkill.
