The Masters of the Universe film may have its director. Per a report from The Wrap, David S. Goyer is in talks to direct the film. He also wrote the latest script of the film.

The new film is coming from Sony, and if the project moves forward it will be released in December 2019.

Masters of the Universe had its start in the early 1980s as a toy franchise, but it became a cartoon series and a film a few years later.
