Mistresses will return for a fourth season to ABC this summer, and it is possible that Alyssa Milano could rejoin the cast of the popular summer series.
After the second season, Mistresses moved production from Los Angeles to Vancouver. The move caused Milano to reconsider her future on the series. She left because she did not want to move her children from their home in Los Angeles.
Now, Deadline is reporting that the series is moving its production back to California after the California Film Commission offered tax incentives for the series to relocate its production back to Los Angeles.
This does pose an interesting situation. Milano’s character still has a connection to the show, and she could easily return to Mistresses during its upcoming fourth season. Her spot on the series is also vacant after Jennifer Esposito departed the series at the end of the season. She was brought in to fill in the spot left open by Milano’s departure.
Deadline also mentioned in their report that ABC and Milano have not yet entered talks about her return, but that could change in the weeks ahead.

I Love Joss & Harry… I think they are adorable together… With Alyssa it don’t matter if she comes or goes… I started watching the show because she was up there at first… Then I became more interested in everyone else but her & Dom… Don’t matter to me…
Yes please, Alyssa Milano should return. The situation of Joss, Harry and her needs to get settled one way or the other. Alyssa adds a lot to the show.

They definitely need to bring her back. She is the only reason I began watching this show. To be honest this last season was the worst. Her sister should not be with Harry. It just makes Joss look like an awful sister & takes away the free-spirit, “huzzy” character she had been from the beginning of the show which is what we loved about her. I don’t see how this show can stay on without Alyssa!!

I stopped watching Mistresses because she left! And I hated the whole Joss and Harry coupling……
I would watch again if AM came back……
I think it would be awesome to bring her back. The way her character left the show would be awesome storytelling for her return.
