According to Variety, NBC has ordered six episodes of a new comedy series starring The Office’s Craig Robinson.
A pilot was ordered for Mr. Robinson last year with Office showrunner Greg Daniels attached. He has since left the project.
Mr. Robinson revolves around a musician (Robinson) who’s hired as a music teacher at a middle school. While teaching his students about various kinds of music, he pushes the boundaries of the school’s rules and policies.

Your thinking of school of rock… and yes it does sound very similer to that. But in S of R, Jack sang (I think), Im thinking this is strickly instrument playing like being in a school band!!! Im very interested in this show. Im thinking NBC has two slots on thursday to fill so it will start on Thursdays. But i do wonder if the soiw is an audience or non audience comedy??? Oh and if its a true comedy show???
Wasn’t this also the plot of a Jack Black movie?
