One Day at a Time is the next big revival set for Netflix, and the series now has its leading lady cast. According to Deadline, Justina Machado, from Six Feet Under and ER will lead the series as a divorced mom raising her teenage daughter and “tween” son.
Deadline shared the complete plot for this new series.
“It centers on Penelope (Machado), a recently separated former military mom who is navigating a new single life while raising her radical teenaged daughter and socially adept tween son, with the “help” of her old school Cuban-born mom and a friends-without-benefits building manager named Schneider.”
Bonnie Franklin starred on the original series. Were you a fan of the original One Day at a Time? Will you watch the revival? Tell us what you think.
They should have brought back Valerie and MacKenzie like Fuller House did…then I would watch. Using non original cast makes it more of a REMAKE instead of a REBOOT. Remakes rarely do well.
