Oprah: Where Are They Now?

When will Where Are They Now return? Well, you’re in luck. OWN has just announced their original series, Oprah: Where Are They Now?, will return for new episodes on January 23rd.

Created in 2012, the series features host Oprah Winfrey talking to former headline makers about what they’re up to now.

Guests for the new season include: Dick Van Dyke, Chaz Bono, Sugar Ray Leonard, Naomi Judd, Penn & Teller, Diahann Carroll, Mackenzie Phillips, and stars from both General Hospital and Growing Pains.

Los Angeles – OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network will premiere an all-new season of “Oprah: Where Are They Now?” Saturday, January 23 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. From one-on-one sit downs with Oprah, to rare peeks into the homes of beloved stars, exclusive interviews with newsmakers who made big headlines to surprise revelations, “Oprah: Where Are They Now?” revisits movie and television stars, sports legends and compelling former “Oprah” show guests.

Beginning in January, Oprah talks with go-to designer Nate Berkus and husband and fellow interior designer Jeremiah Brent about marriage and life with daughter Poppy. Chaz Bono opens up to Oprah on life today as a transgender man; Oprah talks with former “Good Morning America” co-host Joan Lunden about her breast cancer journey; Hollywood power couple, actress Holly Robinson Peete and former NFL star Rodney, talk with Oprah about their new OWN docu-series “For Peete’s Sake” and challenges of juggling career with family life; and former child star Mackenzie Phillips sits down with Oprah to share life after 2009 interview with Oprah where she revealed her 10-year incestuous affair with her father.

Sports legends Jose Conseco, Sugar Ray Leonard, Brandi Chastain, Dorothy Hamill and Lisa Leslie will also be featured this season, as well as Linda Blair from “The Exorcist” and former “Growing Pains” child stars Tracey Gold and Jeremy Miller. Beloved legend Dick Van Dyke introduces his wife Arlene, 46 years his junior; “Benson” star Robert Guillaume talks about his life following a debilitating stroke; and “Star Trek’s” Nichelle Nichols reveals why Martin Luther King, Jr. told her she could not leave the show.

Saturday, January 23 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT Nate Berkus & Jeremiah Brent, Dick Van Dyke, Dorothy Hamill, Lisa Leslie Oprah sits down with go-to designer Nate Berkus and his husband, interior decorator Jeremiah Brent, the new host of OWN’s Emmy Award-winning DIY series “Home Made Simple.” Celebrity updates include Olympic gold medalist Dorothy Hamill, WNBA star Lisa Leslie, and beloved film and TV icon Dick Van Dyke at his Malibu home.

Saturday, January 30 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT Transgender Teen Jazz Jennings, Stars of Growing Pains, Robert Guillaume Oprah sits down with transgender teen Jazz Jennings, who came out to her parents at only five years of age. Celebrity updates include “Growing Pains” child stars Tracey Gold and Jeremy Miller, plus “Benson’s” Robert Guillaume.

Saturday, February 6 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT Chaz Bono, Sugar Ray Leonard, Linda Blair, Star Trek’s Nichelle Nichols Oprah sits down with Chaz Bono, who reveals his ongoing struggle for public acceptance as a transgender man, along with his acting aspirations. Celebrity updates include Sugar Ray Leonard, “The Exorcist’s” Linda Blair, and Nichelle Nichols of “Star Trek” fame.

Saturday, February 13 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT Joan Lunden, Bindi Irwin, Kid ‘n’ Play, The Biggest Loser’s Bob Harper Oprah sits down with former “Good Morning America” anchor Joan Lunden nearly two years after Lunden’s breast cancer diagnosis. Celebrity updates include Bindi Irwin, Kid ‘n Play and “The Biggest Loser’s” Bob Harper.”
