TV show description:
A comedy, this series revolves around childhood best friends Maggie Caruso (Lennon Parham) and Emma Crawford (Jessica St. Clair). They’ve shared countless adventures growing up together in the charming town of Pinebrook, CT. Now, they’re about to have one of their biggest adventures — raising a baby.
When Maggie discovers that her husband Bruce (Brad Morris) is having an online affair (with a muscular German woman), Emma gives up her burgeoning business career in China to stay in their hometown and help Maggie raise her baby.
Meanwhile, as Maggie prepares for the birth of her first child and the fallout of her marriage ending, Emma must confront the past that she abruptly left behind thirteen years ago. Her first love and local cop Mark Rodriguez (Keegan-Michael Key), her perfectly coiffed and extremely opinionated mother Gwen Crawford (Jane Kaczmarek), and a small town that she’s never felt comfortable in.
Zach Harper (Zach Woods) is Maggie’s sweet, quirky, and good-hearted younger brother. They’re close (bonded by the untimely death of their parents many years ago) and his affable nature and naïveté leads him down some questionable paths.
Despite their differences — Emma is brash, bold, and assertive while Maggie is grounded, rational, and safe — the women complement each other the way only best friends can. They face the challenges of their past, present and future together.

On their way to a fancy dinner, Maggie and Emma get into trouble in the best way possible. Some new and old friends come to their rescue.

Renew this show- This is the best show and there is no excuse for it not being renewed. When the CW cancelled Veronica Mars- the fans sent in Mars bars- When CBS cancelled Jericho- fans sent in nuts. USA- don’t make us send you bird bones or meatballs cuz we will do it. This is such a great show- Renew it STAT!

When is USA going to announce something about this show? It’s been in limbo for over 5 months!
I’m secretly hoping that means that they plan to re-introduce the show as if it had never been on, and gauge the ratings again once it’s re-released. In any case, 5 months is torture for fans and cast members alike.
I started watching this show by accident (TV on while working on something else)….I was quickly drawn to it—-the characters, their chemistry, and the subtleties in their humor that you DO NOT see in other shows. I became a loyal viewer after that. Recently, I just watched the complete season on Demand and found myself on the edge of my seat, once again, wondering what will happen next. Knowing that there is even a doubt in anyone’s mind to keep this show is crazy!!!! PLEASE , USA BE SMART AND RENEW THIS ONE—its definitely a keeper!
Let me add my voice to the chorus by saying, no begging the powers that be to not cancel this show. It sweet and funny and does depict the friendships of women. Especially childhood friendships and first loves. So please renew this sweet and funny show.
There is NO reason for USA to be taking this long to renew this show. Lennon and Jessica have created winning characters, wonderful backstories, and they (and their fans!) have earned a 2nd season.

I agree. Not only is it ridiculous for the fans, but it’s also ridiculous for the cast – how do they know whether or not they can commit to other projects with USA dragging its heels to renew? It’s the most maddening thing ever…..!!!! So mad!!! Renew Already!!!!!!!!!!!
This comedy is like nothing else, heartbreaking and funny. Could relate to some of it. 100% comedy. Can’t wait for new seasons w ith greatness! DON’T CANCEL, USA

I LOVE this show! I needed something else to watch during the summer while I ran on the treadmill and I was blown away by this show. The characters, the jokes, all of the creative Ideas I just loved. I’ve watched the season a couple of times already so PLEASE renew this ASAP!!

I have watched every episode multiple times and can’t wait for more. Please keep this show on the air for many more seasons. I don’t understand why so many shows don’t get the accolades they deserve and are then canceled before they have had a chance to draw a following.
I agree. After seeing the promos, i thought this show was going to be silly but started watching and was so pleasantly surprised. Every episode was hilarious! Hope this show is on for a long time!
