FOX is heading back to jail with a continuation of their Prison Break TV series. Original stars Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell will return, as will other actors from the original 2005-09 series. Chairman of the Fox Television Group, Gary Newman, hinted that iconic characters would be returning but didn’t name names.
Prison Break creator Paul Scheuring is currently writing the first episode and series bible. Once he’s done, Newman indicated it would get a straight-to-series order.
Chairman Dana Walden said, “It picks up the characters several years after we left them in the last season of the show… I don’t think Paul knows exactly where he’s going with the 10-episode arc, but it definitely will address some questions that were set up at the end of the series.”
One issue would have to be figuring out how Michael (Miller) cheated death in the last episodes.

Wonderful that they pulled-off that they faked Michael’s death. Also, please include William Fichtner and Sarah Wayne Callies in this continued series of Prison Break.

I know a great way to revive Michael….. You can say the government faked his death and held him in prison like a terriorist or he was in a coma and losted his memory ….
I am OBSESSED with this show, and I am not one to watch movies, especially tv series!! I have never sat in front of a tv screen for so long, and I am happy it was spent watching Prison Break!!!

It would be nice to see the brothers working together from the start, not trying to break one or the other out, unless it is for some newer believable plot. Wentworth Miller s Michael had died at the end.
I absolutely loved this series and was so sad when it ended. There was so much intrigue and fascination of how the storyline twisted. Watching to see how Michael would pull himself or someone else out of the fire at the last minute. I WILL definitely watch another series!

That show was good, but did kind of go off the rails a bit near the end. Perhaps the years away will lend themselves to a fresh vision for this 10 episode arc? I will be watching to see what happens…
It had more than a good run. Should have ended earlier with a better closing episode. My guess is ratings will be OK for the first episode or two and then drop like a rock. But, on TV miracles do happen. lol
