TV show description:
This action comedy series is based on the Rush Hour feature film franchise. It follows a maverick LAPD detective and a by-the-book detective from Hong Kong who knock heads when they are forced to partner together.

Detective Lee (Jon Foo) is a reserved and honorable master martial artist with lightning-fast moves. He comes to Los Angeles to avenge his sister’s alleged death and learn more about her connection to a Chinese organized crime ring.

Meanwhile, Detective Carter (Justin Hires) is a wisecracking cop who plays by his own rules. Carter’s boss, Captain Lindsay Cole (Wendie Malick), often gets frustrated with him she knows he’s a brilliant detective who gets results.

Attempting to help the two partnered detectives get along is Sergeant “Didi” Diaz (Aimee Garcia), Carter’s friend and former partner who doesn’t hesitate to call him out on his antics.

Secretly aiding them as an informant is Carter’s cousin, Gerald (Page Kennedy). He’s a low-level offender who runs with a tough crowd.

Even as their cultures clash and tempers flare, Carter and Lee can’t deny they make a formidable team. They’ll also grudgingly admit that sometimes an unlikely pairing can make for a great partnership.

Episode #13 — Familee Ties
When a meeting of rival Los Angeles gang lords is orchestrated by the Quantou gang, Carter and Lee must infiltrate it to find Lee’s sister Kim and save her from going further with the Quantou.

I would really like to see more “Rush Hour.” So much of the other programs on TV today are either disgusting or stupid.

This show started out a little slow for me but was really beginning to hit its stride when news of cancellation came. Too bad nowadays networks won’t or can’t let a show settle in. You begin to get interested and they stop showing it or switch time slots. Not sure which happened on this one. I just know that somehow I missed a few. I was just starting to look forward to it.

Such an enjoyable show! Why is it being cancelled? It had a little of everything – except filthy language, nudity and sex. Everyone in it was great. Please reconsider!

Why is it that CBS is canceling all the good shows/ They are not giving them a chance. Rush hour was good and so was Good Wife. I am getting to the point where I will stop watching CBS since all my shows get canceled. I am hoping another channel will pick up Rush Hour.

So for a network that is currently making big news about not having enough diversity… why in the wide, wide world of sports would they even think about cancelling this great, funny, entertaining show? Every one of these actors are excellent! Wake up CBS!!!
