Based on the books by Lemony Snicket, the fantasy drama follows the lives of three orphans as they move in with their eccentric relative, Count Olaf. Harris will be playing Olaf alongside fellow castmembers Patrick Warburton and K. Todd Freeman.
On the morning chat show, Harris revealed little, but he did say this version of A Series of Unfortunate Events will be “more spread out” and “darker”:
I’m super excited about it. It’s a much darker take on the material that’s been seen before…It’s not rated ‘R’ dark — in addition for it being for adults and twenty-somethings and teenagers, they want it to be for kids as well.”
A Series of Unfortunate Events is slated to premiere in 2017.
