The fate of Sleepy Hollow is no longer uncertain. Today, it was revealed that FOX has cancelled the TV show so there won’t be a fifth season.
The supernatural drama stars Tom Mison as Ichabod Crane, a Revolutionary War patriot who wakes up more than 200 years after his death. The cast also includes Janina Gavankar, Lyndie Greenwood, Jerry MacKinnon, Rachel Melvin, Oona Yaffe, Jeremy Davies, and John Noble.
The FOX show’s cancellation doesn’t come as much of a surprise. Sleepy Hollow has struggled for a few seasons now and last season, the series alienated many fans by killing off a main character. Season four saw the consequences of that decision in its very low ratings. The fourth season, which ended in March, averaged a 0.50 rating in the 18-49 demo and only 1.92 million viewers, making it FOX’s lowest-rated series for the 2016-2017 season.

I’m disappointed they cancothe. I loved watching it. The way it ended sucked.I was hoping for more seasons. I hope that maybe will pick it up.
I think season four was bound to have a slow start changing the cast the way they did. I think if they were to bring it back for a fifth season it would give the writers the opportunity to get the ratings back up. This show was one of my wicked little pleasures i enjoyed recording and watching after I put my kids down for the night. I still have hope that one of tube other networks may pick it up and go with it. Or possibly hull or Netflix fingers crossed.
I love this program. I have been at cancer centers of america for treatment and at night I would watch the dvds pure enjoyment and kept my mind off my problems. I don’t say this often Well Done. Please bring it back
I think it should come back for season 5 and they way thie show is you could of brought the main character back I was looking foreword for the next one hope it comes back
This show was great. So sad it ended. Really, why? Tom Mison was brilliant. He needs a spin off show or something. The storyline was such a great and original idea.
I really enjoyed sleepy hollow. It had your history of past present and future, a lil bit of religion, supernatural an witchcraft suspense thrill just a lot of everything sure was looking forward to the next season I wait and talk about it until the season starts again I think it should renew

I have enjoyed the show season after season. I was saddened & also remained hopeful that Ichabod’s original partner would somehow return in some miraculous way, but I did enjoy the introduction of new cast members finding the original cast to be slightly too small. I would have liked a 5th season.
I also think it should have been renewed. Maybe it would have found new viewers that discovered the show
You suck…. this was a very educational show, for those who chose to research some of the facts portrayed in the show.
You ended it badly & your channel should now be boycotted, like CNN… Very bad choice.
Please bring sleepy hallow back I loved this show – my 2 lil girls actually watched it with me the one real show that wasn’t a cartoon! Please bring back
