TV show description:
This TV series is a gritty and bloodthirsty medieval drama set in 14th century Wales during a time of English rule. Creator Kurt Sutter draws heavily from history. With the country suffering from the legacy of the black death and the Crusades, daily life is a ritual of violence and poverty.

The ruthless and ambitious Milus Corbett (Stephen Moyer) is a courtier appointed by the crown to govern the region. Mercilessly taxing the communities as he seeks to gain favor, he employs Baron Ventris (Brian F. O’Byrne) to terrorize as he sees fit.

Central character Wilkin Brattle (Lee Jones) was a Knight during King Edward the First’s reign, where the monarch battled successfully against a French and Scottish alliance. Brattle is a deeply spiritual man; drawing on his religious beliefs he wants only to settle down with Petra (Elen Rhys) and live the peaceful life of a farmer. He vows not to take up his sword again.

Leaving the horrors of the battlefield behind proves fruitless as violence catches up with him once more. Annora of the Alders (Katy Sagal) a mystic healer, assumed by some to be a witch, guides Brattle on his brutal journey of redemption.

Series Finale:
Episode #10 — Blood and Quiescence / Crau a Chwsg

I am so disappointed that this show was cancelled. I was hoping it would go on for years. I am questioning the ability of the people that make these decisions. Even if it were a slow starter, as people would find it, it would be appreciated and ratings would grow.

Are they kidding? Who makes these decisions? My husband and I really like this show. The plot line is intriguing, yes, it is a bit more graphic than We like but that’s why we record it and we can zip past those parts. Lol. Seriously though, we never miss it. Very disappointed with decision.

Very disappointed of cancellation. — New show; new storyline; good writing; good screening, good acting. Why can’t a new story/idea succeed? Why are your viewers relegated to watching the same (type) story’s over and over again, even though they are camouflaged in re-written different versions? Perhaps, once in a while, something new may be better than your old, established (and often worn-out) stuff.

Wow! I’m very surprised AND DISAPPOINTED that ******* was canceled…. I loved the show and was looking forward to more. Kurt Sutter is a genius storyteller! Why not give him a chance to see where he could have taken it??? This sucks….See ya FX! Nothing left to watch now…NOTHING. Maybe I’ll check back in 6 months or if I hear of or see something about another show to watch….Lost Shield, Rescue Me, SOA, and now *******….Your station no longer has ANY show that appeals to my taste. Good luck!.

We absolutely loved this show. Sure it was violent, but the name of the show should’ve told people something. WHY was it cancelled? Production costs? Low ratings? Is there any chance that another network picks it up? We desperately need closure on Lady Love and ‘the *******’. Please, please, please bring it back!

I did’t think that I would like this show, but was caught up in the first show and loved it. So disappointed that they choose to take it off the air. They keep so much crap om tv now that it’s hard to find anything good to watch!!
