The first season of The Mindy Project typically airs Tuesday nights at 9:30pm on the FOX network. Aside from Kaling, the sitcom’s cast also includes Anna Camp, Chris Messina, Dana DeLorenzo, Ed Weeks, and Zoe Jarman.

Compared to Raising Hope’s second season premiere a year earlier, FOX was down by 23% in the demo (vs a 3.1 rating) and down by 30% in viewers (vs 6.73 million). Mindy was in third place in its timeslot and lost 11% of its New Girl lead-in. On the positive side, it outperformed fellow FOX newbie Ben and Kate at 8:30pm.

The Mindy Project is one of the funniest show’s on tv right now. I absolutely love it! Everyone’s is so good. I love Mark Duplass, and I love her x beau Josh played by Tommy Dewwey! Chris Messina’s great too. And of ourselves Mindy Kaling is hilarious!

The Mindy Project is a great show, and I would hate to see it get cancelled especially considering how it was left, I personally hate when shows get cancelled at the awkwardest times… It’s so Funny!
This show is laugh out loud funny, even my fishinglogginggolddigging tv show obsessed/pessimistic/anti-pop culture fiance thinks so too. Now that is saying something.
She was a and BJ Novak both worked with the tv Show “the Office” (US Version). And now both are involved with the Mindy project. I like the show keep it on Fox
I love this show, and it’s getting better! Morgan asking if the parakeets could dress him like in a Disney cartoon made us guffaw!
I’m a big fan of sitcoms (I’m really sick of all those reality shows and cop dramas)…but this show isn’t funny at all. I hope FOX cancels it and brings some funny new sitcoms next season.
She is horrible. Its not funny at all. Whats wrong with people these days? Dont even know what funny is anymore.
After suffering through the first 3 or 4 episodes, I’m surprised that this show is still on… maybe I’m not drinking enough?
i think you should give it another chance because while the first few episodes were a little rocky, the show has really come into it’s own.
I LOVE MINDY! I dont really watch sitcoms, but this is my absolute fav show! Please let it continue on! It’s great to see a woman, who isnt perfect and does normal things! She is SO FUNNY! I cant wait to see her and Danny get together, as the story progesses! FOX, please let this happen!

Love this show! Clever writing, comedic timing and adorable lead (Mindy) are a MUST SAVE for FOX…Put it at the 9:00 timeslot and I bet it would do even better!! PLEASE RENEW THE MINDY PROJECT…
This show gets better every week! I read her book well before this show started. She seems down to earth, someone fun to hang out with.
