The Alpha House TV show on Amazon is effectively cancelled, but at yesterday’s TCA press session, Amazon Studio boss Roy Price chose to categorize it as not being a “current” show. That said, there is a chance Garry Trudeau’s Capitol Hill comedy, starring John Goodman, could be renewed for a third season. Matt Malloy, Clark Johnson, Mark Consuelos, Yara Martinez, Julie White, and Alicia Sable, also star.
Should political events inspire another season, assuming the cast and crew were available, Alpha House could return one day in the hazy future. “I like to leave my options open, but I understand what you’re saying,” Deadline reports Price said, in response to critics’ frustration about Alpha House‘s nebulous status.
The second season of Alpha House premiered on Amazon on Friday, October 24, 2014. In January of this year, we reported that Price had met with Trudeau, but that the fate of Alpha House season three still needed to be resolved.

I loved both seasons and found the series to be one if the most entertaining and thought provoking I have ever seen. Please bring it back to life for season three. I long for the high quality TV that I have missed for so long…..
I just binged watched both seasons this weekend. What a clever, funny and poignant show. The acting was phenomenal. I could rave on the contributions of each of these actors. I haven’t had a good belly laugh like that for a while. With all that has changed since the making of the first two seasons, I guess we might as well wait till the results of this November election and then come back. This is superb political satire.

Just got Amazon Prime and I’ve been watching this show. The acting is great, and there is a good chemistry among the characters. I think it’s very well written and I’m disappointed that it’s been cancelled. Bring it back, Amazon!
I LOVE Alpha House! I couldn’t believe it may be cancelled by Amazon. Great writing, storylines – and all the actors are really excellent. The men are great, and the women are so funny, such great characters!

Bring it back, its a great show as is and with this political madness taking place they could really make the next couple seasons hilarious. Might not be able to afford Goodman but do what you have to and MARKET IT, New concept I know.
In the past and especially this political season, truth has been stranger than fiction and even in 2016, it’s amazing how relevant the story lines in ALPHA HOUSE are. Great show and please give it another season.
