Syfy aired the final season premiere of Bitten last week. Recently, star Laura Vandervoort spoke with Collider about the end of the supernatural series and what fans can expect.
Bitten was cancelled back in December.
Speaking to Collider, Vandervoort, who plays a female werewolf, said she’s “proud” of the third season:
We’re really focused on the third season because I’m proud of the cast and our crew, and everything we accomplished this year. We have such dedicated fans. It’s grown, over the years. I never like to say something is gone. You never know. We’re just really excited we got three seasons, which is an accomplishment for our show, and I just really want to see the show do well this year.”
Earlier, we reported that both the actress and the series’ showrunner are hopeful the series might be saved for a fourth season. But if not, Vandervoort said the end of the third season will have closure for fans:
I believe that the show really does a great job, this season, of taking the characters to where they needed to be. Whether fans like or dislike that, we’ll have to wait and see. I’m pleased with the direction it went in. I do think it’s a nice closure for the characters. I like to say that there’s always a hope. It’s just difficult because you never know with television what will happen. But I think what we’ve done this season should make fans very, very pleased.”

I think another season would do the show more justice and be more pleasing to the fans. I don’t like how it ended with so many questions of where everyone is in life. I couldn’t stop watching the show, and I was very sad to watch my last episode. Hope the cancelation is reconsidered and another season, maybe two will be released.

Loved the series Bitten! Amazing show, story, actors ! I am just so disappointed it was canceled! I have watched this series 3 times over with in the past few months! I just wish it wasn’t canceled! By far the best show i have seen in a long time!
Me and my husband think this is a great programme we watch on netflix and can’t believe there is not going to be a season 4 why is it all the good programmes get cancelled
I really hope you guys reconsider this show being canceled and make a fourth season and more we aloud some shows to have more then 8 season which totally shouldn’t been aloud so it cancel it at 3 is a little unfair for those who couldn’t stop watching it

The 2nd and the 3rd season the series got even better. Great acting and good scenario. All of a sudden it was cancelled. This series deserves to be brought back. It is early enough.

I’m sorry to have to say that I’m disappointed. Why only do three seasons? Is there no ambition? With so many fans and great acting there should not be a sudden end. I think the fans have spoken. We want more. I would appreciate more. If you have taken the time to read my response, thank you!

I fell in love with Bitten from day one. The actors was great,everything about this show was great writers, directors, cast the entire show was just top of the line. Watched all 3 seasons in 2 weeks. They deserve no less than 10 more seasons!! #fan4life luv you guys.
When I watched the first episode of season 1 I fell in love with it watched all 3 seasons in less than 2 weeks & even my whole family started watching with me we love it. Hope that Season 4 is on its way pls there has to be Season 4 its too good to end like how it did. I started watching this in October and I’m in love with it. I recently heard that its been canceled. I really hope that it cones back I want to see the 4th season, plz. I need season 4 plz plz plz.
