There will be no more redemption for The Blacklist: Redemption. After just one season, the spin-off from The Blacklist has been cancelled. The series wrapped its season in April.

The NBC series, which stars Ryan Eggold and Famke Janssen, started off its first season on a low note, and the series never rose any higher on a consistent basis. Season one wrapped with an average of a 0.75 demo rating and 4.04 million viewers.

Other cancelled NBC TV shows include Timeless, Emerald City, and Powerless. The Blacklist has been renewed for a fifth season on NBC.

They never give a show a chance to succeed. How is a show suppose to be a success if it is not given time to gain a following. The show was great and Im sorry to see it go. I hope Ryan and Femka join the original Blacklist.

I couldn’t agree more! I forced myself to watch the first 2 episodes and I could bear no more. The quality of writing, the quality of production…all very much lower than that of the Blacklist. Good riddance!!! I hope they will get Tom back to the Blacklist where he belongs.

This seems to be the trend for most shows that debut in the second half of the season. I’m regret I ever watched it since I had a gut feeling this would happen. Usually CBS pulls this crap.

I really liked the new show and the storyline. Hope they will continue the story to give us closure on which of Toms parents are the good guy…

It was getting really interesting! Hope they finish the story via Blacklist, if not picked up somewhere else, like streaming alone ? On NBC.Com or elsewhere?

This is not really news to those Blacklist fans that felt the Tom Keen character was never really redeemable. I just hope the character doesn’t end up back on the original series. These last few episodes have been so much better without the constant family drama that was Keen2. These episodes have shown the dynamics that made the first season of the Blacklist so successful.

I will be crushed for cancelled this interesting spinoff for low ratings. Ryan Eggold will likely return the Blacklist. If you cannot put back the spinoff show, let other networks take over.

VERY disappointed. I was really interested in this show, especially since it had Terry O’Quinn — one of my favorite actors. This show deserved a better shot.

I am disappointed that “The Blacklist: Redemption” is cancelled. I watched it because one of my favourite actors was starring Ryan Eggold. I hope he will still be on “The Blacklist”. It was an interesting show and I liked how it was connected to “The Blacklist”. Please reconsider and renew for Season 2 and maybe more.

I loved the Blacklist Redemption show as a follow-up to The Blacklist. Why they cancelled it is beyond me when they leave awful programs on television like Two Broke Girls which has to be one of the worst shows on television. It is crass and gross and I am not a prude. I simply think it is absolutely inappropriate for general viewing and it is on during a time when children watch television.

Terrible news! Famke Janssen is a gorgeous sexy wonderful talented actress. REDEMPTION had great writers, actors, & lighting. Story-lines were more interesting than this year’s original BLACKLIST (still good, but becoming a bit stale & needing a hotter female lead). I hope REDEMPTION’s stars can possibly be ‘merged’ back into the BLACKLIST? NBC, please say yes! Also, finish your contract talks & announce renewal for LAW & ORDER SVU with the wonderful Kelli Giddish! Also, we want your pilot REVERIE picked up to series.
