A certain rapper has had his career cut short. FX has cancelled Chozen after one season of 10 episodes.
This animated comedy follows Chozen, a gay white rapper who’re recently been released from prison. He’s now got a new message and is on a quest for redemption, to claim his rightful position as the world’s top rap artist. Chozen stars Bobby Moynihan as the voice of the title character. Others in the Chozen cast include Hannibal Buress, Michael Peña, Nick Swardson, Kathryn Hahn, and Method Man.
The series debuted in January to 946,000 viewers with a 0.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic. Viewership dropped about 30% in week two and got worse for subsequent episodes. The season finale on March 31st hit a new low with 451,000 viewers and a 0.3 demo rating.
Though the cable channel is still committed to putting out original scripted content, the ratings were too low to mandate a second season of Chozen.

We NEED a SECOND SEASON of CHOZEN!!!! Its very funny!! People can relate to it, along with its FUNNY AS HELL!!! So come noowwww for the sake of laughters!! Make a god damn SECOND SEASON!!!!! Shiiit put me on the show! Ill make everybody watch it and get lots of reviews! Thats being real..

Best show ever! I missed sleep just to watch chozen. And with family guy and southpark going down hill i would really like to see chozen back on the air so archer has an equal
Chozen is the was and still is the best…i wanted to see the battle between fantasim and chozen….

The series was gimme and funny as hell….didn’t think cable yet alone fix was going to carry a 2nd season as they kept **** real and hood as hell. Dam it takes a bit to develop characters and plots with hidden undertones of gangster hay as **** that was real in so many ways. Was already thinking of what chozen and the crew were going to get into
I really enjoyed watching chozen that show was funny and Very creative with its plot. I wish fx was smart enough to see the potential in a show like that they need to pick back up where it left off or put it on fxx or adult swim
Chozen was super tight, yes the content is not for sensitive viewers but the select few of us that are hip hop fans really enjoyed the creativity in the rhyme schemes and flow of “Chozen” and “Phantasm”. The jokes were on point too. Please bring back Chozen, don’t let stats and figures dictate what people enjoy watching

I personally enjoyed watching chozen… I never missed an episode an when I heard they cancelled it i was really pissed. Im comfortable saying that chozen was in my top 3 being #1 of my favorite shows. I wish they would consider the 0.3 rating percentage of the people that watched chozen and that they would air another season. I dont see why not
