Code Black has enlisted Meredith Baxter for a guest appearance during season two. The CBS series has made some big changes for its second season, and this big name guest star is just one of them.
TV Line shared a bit about the Family Ties star’s role on the CBS drama:
“As EP Michael Seitzman explains, her character’s grandson, along with some of his friends, brush up against poison oak while on a camping trip. The twist? ‘It turns out it’s measles,’ he explains. ‘But the real complication comes when [Baxter’s alter ego] also gets measles, because the measles vaccine wears off by a certain age and she is susceptible to it. The complications for her are far more grave.’”

The story line doesn’t make sense. Someone Baxter-Birney’s age (She actually looks older than her age) wouldn’t have gotten the vaccine. She would have gotten the measles by the time she was 15, 16. Once people have had the measles, they are immune. The vaccine wasn’t available until the mid-1960s.

This is so bad that you are stopping the show I have been watching it all day. I know there is a way for you to bring this back and if this is about stupid money then find it. Too many people watch and love this show. What you are doing is beyond wrong. I have gotten more upset as the day has gone on. And I know there is a way to bring it back it may be a bit different but it is way too fabulous to just do away with it. This is so so wrong
