The cast of Conviction is moving on. Deadline reports Manny Montana has joined NBC’s new pilot Good Girls.
Montana played Franklin “Frankie” Cruz on Conviction, which ended its first season earlier this month. ABC has not yet announced whether or not the series will be renewed, but it seems unlikely given the show’s low ratings and the network’s decision not to order more episodes.
From Jenna Bans, Good Girls “follows three “good girl” suburban wives and mothers who suddenly find themselves in desperate circumstances and decide to stop playing it safe, and risk everything to take their power back.” Montana has been cast as “Rio, a smart local hustler who recognizes what assets our “good girls” can be to his money laundering business.”
What do you think? Did you watch Conviction? Would you watch Good Girls?
Never watched Conviction, but I will search for it. My dad recommended Good Girls, and I now am crushing on this terrifying character. Highly recommend the new series! The heat between the blonde and this gangsta is sexy and worth the time.
Conviction was one of the best new shows. Really hope it will
be renewed.
Loved “Conviction”…new show “Good Girls” does NOT sound like something I would watch.
good girls – girl power hour meets breaking bad – pass
I really liked Conviction, but Good Girls doesn’t sound like something I’d watch.
I Loved Conviction hate to see it go.
