Get ready to see a lot more Paget Brewster on Criminal Minds. Deadline reports the actress has been promoted to a regular on the CBS series.

The news comes after we reported the show would be adding new castmembers following the dismissal of star Thomas Gibson.

Earlier, it was announced Brewster was going to reprise the character SSA Emily Prentiss for a few episodes of the drama’s upcoming 12th season. Now, she joins fellow regular cast members Joe Mantegna, Matthew Gray Gubler, A.J. Cook, Kirsten Vangsness, and newcomer Adam Rodriguez full time.

From showrunner Erica Messer:

We’re all so excited to have Paget with us full time. The BAU family has definitely missed her, on screen and off. Having her back on set has been great, it’s like she never left.”

Season 12 of Criminal Minds begins on September 28th.
