LOGO GREENLIGHTS A SECOND SEASON OF “FINDING PRINCE CHARMING”
Network’s Breakout Reality Dating Competition Series Will Welcome a New Class of Suitors Vying for Prince Charming and a Chance at Love
Season One Finale to Air Thursday, November 3rd Followed by a Reunion on Thursday, November 10th
NEW YORK, NY – October 13, 2016 – Logo today announced it has greenlit a second season for “Finding Prince Charming,” a new hit reality dating competition series that premiered in September. The announcement comes just two weeks after one of the highest rated episodes to date which drew a 22% increase in overall viewers from its season average and up 9% above the week prior. Season to date and across all platforms, “Finding Prince Charming” has reached 3.4 million plus viewers. The success of “Finding Prince Charming” and “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” has also led Logo to its highest rated Thursday night in network history.
The first-of-its-kind journey to find love is hosted by Lance Bass and features interior designer, Robert Sepulveda Jr. in the first season as the sought-after prince charming who is searching for the man of his dreams. Sepulveda’s 13 charming suitors, all housed together, are competing to stand out from the crowd and capture a moment of intimate connection, romance and, perhaps, true love. One by one, the suitors are eliminated until Prince Charming chooses one ideal man to sweep him off of his feet and win his heart.
On tonight’s all-new episode airing at 9:00 PM ET/PT on Logo, the remaining guys are put to the test to see which of them knows Robert best. Their patience is tested when two suitors find themselves having to share Robert on a romantic date and a shocking elimination leaves the house rattled. The current season will come to a dramatic conclusion on Thursday, November 3rd at 9:00 PM ET/PT when Robert and the remaining suitors head to a romantic destination where he is faced with his toughest decision yet. On Thursday, November 10th at 9:00 PM ET/PT, Lance Bass will welcome back Prince Charming and the 13 suitors that competed for his heart in a reunion special filled with drama, fun, heartbreak and never-before-seen-footage.
“’Finding Prince Charming’ is unlike anything that’s currently on television and fans can’t seem to get enough of the reality series,” said Pamela Post, SVP of Original Programming for Logo. The show is a winning mix of drama and romance topped with humor and we are looking forward to leveling up next season.”
Casting has begun on the new season of “Finding Prince Charming” and viewers have the chance to influence the new cast by giving one lucky suitor the opportunity to fall head over heels for a brand new prince through an online submission and voting process. Beginning Thursday, November 3rd through Wednesday, November 16th, potential suitors can submit a photo or video via hashtag through Instagram or Twitter showing the public why they should have a chance at love on the next season of Logo’s dating competition series. On Thursday, November 17th, fans will vote from the top potential suitors and the winner will vie for Prince Charming’s heart.
