It looks like Nick’s fights on Friday nights are far from over. NBC has renewed Grimm for a fifth season for 2015-16.
On Grimm, Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) continues to fight to keep humanity safe from the supernatural creatures of the world. Others in the cast include Russell Hornsby, Bitsie Tulloch, Silas Weir Mitchell, Sasha Roiz, Reggie Lee, Bree Turner, and Claire Coffee.
Grimm is down by 7-10% in the ratings so far this season; averaging a 1.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 4.99 million viewers. This season will see the fantasy crime drama reach the 88 episode mark, enough episodes for syndication. Next year it will likely reach 100 installments — quite an impressive feat for a genre series that airs on Friday nights on a major network.
What do you think? Do you like the Grimm TV show? Are you glad that it’s been renewed? How long should it continue?
Please oh please, continue the series!! It’s a well written fantasy series with terrific actors playing excellent characters!
This is my favorite show. The thrill each week of watching it is amayzing. I’m so happy that troubles coming back. I also can’t believe that Juliet has become a hexanbeast and has turned against nick. I know that this show can go very far with the royal families and nick getting the keys. But what kind of vesin are the royals because they’ve never shown them vogue? Also how is nick going to get the rest of the keys from the royals and the other grimms? Were the keys in the trailer when Juliet burnt it?
Great show one I enjoy watching
Love the serie. Look forward to Friday nights to watch the show.
Grimm is amazing!
My husband and I Love this show!! It’s original and so creative! We are hoping it goes on for a run of 8 to 10 years!!! All the people are such great actors and the script stories are such great fiction! Such imagination! Not your everyday cop stuff!! We are very happy it was renewed!! Thank you so much!!!!!!!
I’m a 15 year old and I just can’t get enough of this show! I’ve seen cop shows, but none of them compare to Grimm. I’m always on the edge of my seat, practically biting off my nails. My family and I love it so much, we’ve made it a tradition to all sit on the couch and watch Grimm every Friday. We just can’t miss an episode! Thank you so much for renewing season 5, and we hope to see a lot more of Nick and his friends. Hopefully another 5 seasons 🙂
I love Grimm. Please keep it on the air!!!!
My husband and I love the show. We have enjoyed watching the character development and the unique story twists. We are older than the demographic. We are very glad the show is continuing for another season. We hope that is the case for several more seasons.
Love this show!!
As tonights show came to an end, I heard the announcer say “the final two episodes” and I literally burst out into tears. I thought for sure that meant this was gonna be the last season. I absolutely love this show. I love all of the characters and what the writers have done with the fairy tale story lines. I feel like I’m watching a fantasy show but at the same time its done in a way that is almost believable. Nothing like it on TV and I would be so sad to not see this story go on. The… Read more »
I am soooooooooooooooooooo happy it will continue ,I love it. It is the only show I watch of Friday. It could go on for many more years.
We love the show plus we live in Portland where they film and it is always fun to see! Keep up the good work!! We also hope for many more seasons.
Really like the show and hope it continues for a few more seasons. Great chemistry with the cast. Makes my Friday night viewing pretty great. I am older than the demographic and find this genre right for me!
Yes! My husband and I are much older than the demographic, however, we enjoy the heck out of the show! So original and clever. Not another cops or crime show. We enjoy looking for the new “vogue” facial effects. Very creative. We hope it stays on for another five seasons or so.
