It looks like Nick’s fights on Friday nights are far from over. NBC has renewed Grimm for a fifth season for 2015-16.
On Grimm, Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) continues to fight to keep humanity safe from the supernatural creatures of the world. Others in the cast include Russell Hornsby, Bitsie Tulloch, Silas Weir Mitchell, Sasha Roiz, Reggie Lee, Bree Turner, and Claire Coffee.
Grimm is down by 7-10% in the ratings so far this season; averaging a 1.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 4.99 million viewers. This season will see the fantasy crime drama reach the 88 episode mark, enough episodes for syndication. Next year it will likely reach 100 installments — quite an impressive feat for a genre series that airs on Friday nights on a major network.
What do you think? Do you like the Grimm TV show? Are you glad that it’s been renewed? How long should it continue?
My husband and I absolutely love this show! Maybe if the cast members do some talk shows to get some much needed publicity. I would really hate to see this show end at this time.
I love Grimm. Only one of 3 shows I bother watching. It’s so unique and interesting every week. I hope it continues to get picked up for many more seasons.
Yes love the show it’s just a breath of fresh air of crazy
My kids and I can’t wait to see Grimm every week. We have all the seasons and love the imaginative characters. Please get rid of Adilen once and for all. She has caused so much trouble and Juliette needs to kill her before that baby is born. Anyway, love the show. Wish Juliette could keep her powers but use them for good. Just saying.
This is the best show, thanks to TNT I even found out about it. NBC needs to push it just a little more, but its the only reason my tv is even on Friday nights. I literally sat and watched all 3 and a half seasons in order back in February while being stuck inside by snow. the show has show many ways it could go and so many different types of wessen it could introduce. Oh, and yes I am in the demo they are looking at and honestly its an unfair age group to look at because the… Read more »
Absolutely LOVE this show! Between Grimm and Supernatural and Vampire Diaries/The Originals Grimm has all the qualities of a great Long running T.V. series…sexy characters, action, drama, suspense, love, hate, good, evil, fantasy, magic and more. Makes me wanna move to Portland and hang with some Wesen. Simply put it cannot end!
I love Grimm & would love to see it continue for at least 10 years! There are several shows that went 10 years or more! Grimm is awesome & I look forward to it every week!
My daughter and I look forward to Fridays because we will see Grimm. It’s our favorite show on television. It has a good story line with strong characters, mystery and intrigue! I can’t wait to tell my daughter it has been renewed for another season. She’ll be thrilled!
what the Seagrams been renewed because the teasers had me concerned that this was the last season.I think there’s plenty of stories left to tell
I really enjoy the show! It’s very different from anything else on TV, and reminds me of the old horror comic books from the 50’s. I also am older than the demographic (71)
The TV show Grimm has grown on me over the years. I am a big fan of the creators so I stuck with it and it’s gotten better, more charming, better plots and characters over the time. This new plot twist of turning Juliet into a Hexan beast (sp?) I was really upped the intrigue, and I bet it’s a lot of fun for the cast as well. I watch TV on my treadmill every morning, having recorded my favorite shows the nite before. Let me tell you my friends, there is an egregious dearth of content available to viewers… Read more »
I love this show! I hope it never ends.
I ALMOST CRIED I WAS SO HAPPY IT HAS BEEN RENEWED!!!! I love each character so much and this season has been CRAZY INTENSE!!! SO YAY!!!!!! I even watch the repeats on TNT! So much love to my GRIMM PEEPS!!
I hope that Friday nights are not the end of the show, it has been my favorite since it started. It needs better marketing.
Grimm is just getting good! It has to stay on the air. There are so many plot line threads and unanswered questions.
Love to watch a show so far away from reality.glad to see its bee renewed while watching Grimm don’t have to think of the real bad things going on,keep same time.
