It looks like Nick’s fights on Friday nights are far from over. NBC has renewed Grimm for a fifth season for 2015-16.
On Grimm, Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) continues to fight to keep humanity safe from the supernatural creatures of the world. Others in the cast include Russell Hornsby, Bitsie Tulloch, Silas Weir Mitchell, Sasha Roiz, Reggie Lee, Bree Turner, and Claire Coffee.
Grimm is down by 7-10% in the ratings so far this season; averaging a 1.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 4.99 million viewers. This season will see the fantasy crime drama reach the 88 episode mark, enough episodes for syndication. Next year it will likely reach 100 installments — quite an impressive feat for a genre series that airs on Friday nights on a major network.
What do you think? Do you like the Grimm TV show? Are you glad that it’s been renewed? How long should it continue?
Used to love Grimm. It was a different take on old stories. Having some of the characters know what a grimm is and what’s going on was a good twist. But have Juliet go all nuts and Nick being a potential daddy just killed the show for me. I am trying to watch until the end of the season but the story has just gone so far from a good direction that I don’t know if I can watch anymore. Seems to be the beginning of the end for this show.
pick up the pace so far 1 2 season were the best more action please
This is the only show I still watch on NBC. They have nothing else that’s even a little imaginative. The rest of their line up is all imitation of other shows on other channels. Dateline: imitation of 60 Minutes, The Voice: imitation of American Idol, etc.
yes im glad but a grimm kills monsters. this show is starting to look like a C S I show
I LOVE GRIMM! IT IS ONE OF THE BEST SHOWS I HAVE EVER SEEN! I HOPE IT CONTINUES FOR A VERY LONG TIME!
This the most entertaining sci-fi series, it keeps you on the edge of your seat. The actors are all great, the plots are exciting. I hope this continues to season five and more. I own all seasons of Grimm and watch it with all my friends. Please do not cancel this series.
I will watch Grimm and record it for my husband because he works on Friday nights both of us love this show very involved it is like you are there with the actors and then we discuss what will or could happen next the is the best part when you can sit and talk about the show and try to figure out what is going to happen next. The more mysterious endings and Grimm keeps the fans on the edge of their seats Grimm will continue so Please keep Grimm on the air as long as possible.
We love this show, do not cancel!
Love the show, keep it coming.
THANK YOU for renewing my Grimm! I look forward to it every week and so do all my friends!!!!! Keep up the good fight against evil!
Grimm is absolutely the best most innovated show on TV. I will not answer my phone when I am watching Grimm, and my family is totally aware not to call during that time unless it is a matter of life or death. Don’t know what age has to do with ratings. I am a 74 year old gal and just love this program. Keep it going, PLEASE!!!
i love the show and want it to keep going juilet needs to be gone and trouble needs to be brought back in to the show i hope it keeps going for a while
Great show glad to know its been renewed please NBC do not cancel it!!!!!!
My husband and I look forward to the watching this show every Friday night. We are slightly above the 18-49 demographic in age. The stories are fun, imaginative, sometimes scary and always heartfelt. I liken it to the original Star Trek series themes of current issues set and solved in an alternate environment from reality.
I am glad Grimm has not been cancelled. The actors are great, the setting is romantic and fanciful, and the storytelling superb. Most of what I have seen on TV today is not stimulating, thoughtful or imaginative. Cudos to the writers of this show!
I love Grimm!! Particularly the characters Nick & Munroe. So different from anything else on tv.
