Looks like Kevin’s been fired and there won’t be a second season of his show. Variety reports Freeform has cancelled their sitcom Kevin From Work after one season.
The workplace comedy debuted in August 2015.
Created by Barbara Adler, Kevin From Work starred Noah Reid as Kevin, a man who confesses his love for his co-worker, Audrey (Paige Spara), before leaving to work overseas. His job falls through, and the two are then forced to work together. Jordan Hinson, Punam Patel, Matt Murray, and Amy Sedaris also starred.
Earlier this year, Freeform chief Tom Ascheim said the network loved the series and was still “trying to make it work.” Unfortunately, ratings for the comedy were poor, with the first season averaging only 320,000 viewers per episode.
Kevin From Work is the first show to be cancelled after ABC Family switched to Freeform back in January.

This was to be the show that helped me adjust to life without The Office. Every single character was beyond perfect and everyone was funnier than the next. I may not be able to go on… PLEASE RECONSIDER!!!
Come on I’m so pissed that there is no season two I might actually kill someone. I absolutely loved season 1. There should definitely be season 2.
Just saw this movie and loved it! Was looking forward to what happens in the next season, such a shame this won’t air again. Really funny movie, imbibing the challenges experienced in reality and making fun to view. Really wish u have a re-think on this
Kevin from work needs another chance! Season one was phenomenal and definitely deserves more credit than it did. The characters are awesome and storyline is great. I would have loved to see more character development and where the writers would go with the show. If there’s any chance of bringing this show back, please do!
Sad news! This was a refreshing comedy, and yes did seem out of place on ABC Family. Wish they gave it another shot.
My friends and I really enjoyed Kevin From Work, it’s a shame the ratings were so low. The show had a sweet premise with no violence or evil, so of course no one watched it. Personally, I found Kevin and Audrey to be really the only likable characters, pretty much everyone else was living in their own self-centered, non-reality little world! Seriously, Patti was off-the-charts delusional!
I loved Kevin From Work and always felt like it didn’t belong on ABC Family/Freeform… ABC itself would have been more appropriate to get the right demo numbers… Either way, another commenter got it right… I believe Kevin From Work’s viewers were mainly on On Demand, Hulu and others… But there are enough ppl talking about it and checking in on apps & sites like TV Show Time & Twitter so I know people WERE watching, just maybe not in the traditional sense.

you will be surprised how many people are watching abc family programming shows on On Demand DVR Netflixs and hulu
