BBC America has given the greenlight to the Killing Eve TV show. The dark thriller comes from Phoebe Waller-Bridge. It will premiere in 2018.
Killing Eve revolves around an assassin and the woman charged with hunting her down. It is a combination of brutal mischief making and pathos. The action-packed series is reportedly sharply funny.
BBC America Orders Killing Eve to Series
BBC America President Sarah Barnett said, “Killing Eve is a brilliantly fresh take on the cat and mouse thriller from Phoebe Waller-Bridge, a major new talent in television. Underneath the deceptively simple and entertaining surface is a subversive, funny, obsessive relationship between two women, that plays out across some of the most and least glamorous locations imaginable.”
Killing Eve centers on two women. Eve is a whip-smart, pay-grade security services operative. Her boring desk-bound job doesn’t fulfill her fantasies of being a spy.
Villanelle is an elegant, talented killer. She clings to the luxuries her violent job affords her.
These two fiercely intelligent women are equally obsessed with each other. In Killing Eve, they’ll go head to head in an epic game of cat and mouse.
Showrunner Phoebe Waller-Bridge is executive producing with Sally Woodward Gentle and Lee Morris. The series is produced by Sid Gentle Films. Killing Eve is an adaptation of Luke Jennings’ novellas.

hi,,i stayed up recently and watched every episode..I was so drawn in,,loved it…One issue,, even though i loved the acting and the story plots , i was mystified why they made the eve and some of her characters, smart but stupid….like when her luggage disappeared and she finds out her killer uses her name and she the only reaction was, really, why…when her friend was killed,,,i would of had eve snap and except the challenge on a whole new level…i was waiting for someone to say,, we were waiting for the killer to take eve as bait…
This sounds interesting and smart. I’ll be watching for this. As for who should be cast, I can already see Angie Harmon as the killer. That role would suit her perfectly
Great idea! I can totally see Angie Harmon as the killer. She has the intensity for it
Sounds awesome! I would definitely cast Angie Harmon for the role of the killer
