canceled + renewed TV shows - TV Series Finale

Legends: Three Hour Finale Promo Released for Cancelled TNT Series

by Cindy McLennan, December 22, 2015

Legends TV show on TNT: canceled, no season 3

Last week, TNT cancelled Legends after two seasons. Now the network has released a new promo for the three-hour Legends TV series finale, set to air December 28th. Watch it, below.

Legends stars Sean Bean as undercover agent Martin Odum, who transforms into a new person, for each case. TNT moved Legends to the fall schedule for the second season, and brought on a new showrunner, but in the end, that did not save the show, which floundered in the ratings.

Here’s the promo:

What do you think? Are you a fan of the Legends TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled? Would you have watched a third season?

We just discovered and binge-watched both seasons of Legends on Netflix….we can’t believe such a great show was cancelled. We will miss it.

Our family recently discovered Legends via Netflix, and we LOVE – LOVE – LOVE it. We’d love 10 more seasons, or as many as possiible. As action film lovers, we just love the action, and all cast, directors, script work in season 1 are perfect. We noticed the show depicts certain nationalities as the bad guys, and maybe this has made some viewers dissatisfied. If this is the reason the show was cut, the script writers can just fabricate nationalities, so they don’t offend anyone. Action movie lovers love the action per se. We don’t care if the bad guys… Read more »

Very disappointed there is no Season 3. My husband and I just finished watching Season 2. One of the best series we’ve ever watched! Sean Bean is excellent and putting Legends together was phenomenal. A story like none other. Please bring back Legends!

I’ve just discovered this show, this is one of the best shows I’ve seen, much better than some of the rubbish that go on season after season, can’t believe it has been cancelled. I have only seen series one and can’t find anything on series two. No DVDs. Amazon have download episodes but we don’t have Amazon where I live in Australia and Amazon don’t allow us to purchase it.
Anyone help?

this show is very watchable for me, in part due to the subject matter. Sean Bean also really gets to demonstrate his impressive versatility, which is definitely cool. i would have watched other seasons. still, it was pretty obvious, even to me, that something was just not working with the show. i usually did not care too much about what happened to the characters, although the writers certainly put some brutal stuff in there. after some initial shock/disgust/sadness, i realized i was watching (quite casually) a television show that made little sense, anyway. i often cringed at the dialogue, although… Read more »

I LOVED this show. I also LOVE Sean Bean. He di a great job with this role. It’s always the good shows that get cancelled. The shows that need to be cancelled are the STUPID reality shows like the Kardashians. Who the hell are these people anyway, and who gives a **** what they do. Bring back Legends!!!!!!

Just watched LEGENDS on NETFLIX, I would definitely watch additional seasons! The series had so many levels and story lines that could be explored! pity it was canceled. Maybe AMZN or NFLX can buy the rights and continue?

LOVED ‘Legends’. Sean Bean is awesome as Martin Odim! Season one hooked us. Season two had great twists and turns. Recommended to friends. Netflix, here’s your chance at another great gig! More ‘Legends’ please.

This is a great show and should not have been cancelled. I did not hear of it until I saw it on Netflix. If it had been advertised while on TNT I’m sure more people would have been watching and the ratings would have been higher. I hope Netflix picks it up because it is a great series.
