This season, there are several new TV shows that are based on feature films. Historically, most have done poorly in the ratings and have been cancelled after one season. Will Limitless be one of the lucky ones and be renewed for a second season by CBS? Stay tuned.
On Limitless, deadbeat Brian Finch (Jake McDorman) is given the NZT-48 drug and it unlocks 100% of his brain. Brian has complete recall of whatever he’s learned at any point in his life, either consciously or subconsciously. The FBI want to use him to help solve crimes but they’re not the only ones interested in Brian and the drug. The rest of the cast includes Jennifer Carpenter, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, Hill Harper, and Colin Salmon.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This is crazy a seriously they can air breaking bad and all sorts of other kind of shows that are with drugs, rape, violence but not LIMITLESS? are you serious i wish i owned CBS cause i would allow limitless they need to make another season 2. It was amazing. it’s sad it had to end so soon. i don’t understand why there cant be another season? ANYONE CARE TO ANSWER????
Limitless is a great show! It keeps the viewer engaged in a suspensefull mini series. It draws viewers that like action, high tech, suspense, and adventure. This show is an ansolute original and unique story that has a fast moving plot, decency and creativity for the audience. Keep it going with Season 2!!
This is a very good show, and I believe it would be a borderline idiotic decision to cancel it. I know that I don’t stand alone when I say that this show is very creative and always keeps you on the edge of your seat with the fantastic leads that Brian comes up with. RENEW LIMITLESS.
We love this show! Please renew another season. It’s smart, clever and clean. Our whole family can watch it with our being offended with gratuitous sex and violence.
Can anyone tell me what the max 18-40 demo rating is?
This show has an important message. There are far too many programs that assert gun violence and ordinary people are now convinced that guns are the answer to their safety. This show asks if guns are necessary all the time? The hero values human life. It also questions the training that our police get. We get it when Boyle says his training told him to shoot Rooks when Finch was sure he would stand down. We need more examples like this to change the culture of gun violence that has developed in the USA.
Please I am begging you with all of my heart do not cancel this show if you do I will cry so hard a will make a new saltier ocean and we don’t need that now do we so bring back the show and there will not be an ocean of tears
