FOX is going to Hell … again. Today, the network announced they’ve renewed Lucifer for a second season, Variety reports.
The drama stars Tom Ellis as Lucifer Morningstar, the fallen angel who has left his post in Hell to run a Los Angeles nightclub. Lauren German, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Rachael Harris, D. B. Woodside, and Scarlett Estevez also star.
Lucifer premiered to favorable ratings, earning a 2.43 in the 18-49 demo and 7.156 million viewers with its January debut. And while ratings have dropped off significantly since then, with an average of 1.55 in the 18-49 demo and around 4.820 million viewers, the series is still one of FOX’s stronger performers.

We knew we had something special with ‘Lucifer,’ from the engaging performances of Tom, Lauren and the rest of the charismatic cast, to Len Wiseman’s visually stunning look of the show and the amazing storytelling savvy of the Bruckheimer team.”
Today, FOX also renewed Rosewood for a second season.

Sadly I only have cable not sky here in the uk so could only watch this by buying the DVD but my family and I absolutely love this show- each episode is exciting and opens up more layers on all the characters and hope that this will come on other channels for us cable folk or freeview viewers as it deserves more followers

As a Christian and a conservative, I think this is one the best shows ever made. Makes you think, laugh, cry, and wrestle with some of the most difficult questions that we all want the answers to. I feel the depth of the show growing each episode, and has something we can all learn from. Can’t wait for the next!
