MacGyver: George Eads Leaving CBS’ Friday Night TV Show

by Jessica Pena, November 27, 2018

MacGyver TV show on CBS: (canceled or renewed?)

A key character is leaving MacGyver. Deadline reports George Eads is departing the CBS TV show.

Eads plays Jack Dalton on the reboot series, which also stars Lucas Till, Tristin Mays, Justin Hires, and Meredith Eaton. The action-adventure drama premiered its third season in September.

It’s unclear why Eads is leaving MacGyver after three seasons, but Deadline says the star will continue filming on the CBS series through December.

What do you think? Do you watch MacGyver? Are you sad Eads is leaving the show?

Liked him at first but this season he has been super annoying. Maybe the actor wanted out because his character has been so unlikeable this season sometimes the unhappiness of the actor comes through the character. I’m glad his character is going.

He’s the only reason I watch the show. Without him, I definitely won’t be watching the show anymore.

Yes very sad he’s leaving. He is one of the reason I watched MacGyver. I might just stop watching once he’s gone.

In the last episode saw this coming. Something was wrong they’re trying to introduce another sidekick for the main character during the last episode. I’m not sure of the shows going to continue. This might be the end within a year or two sad though I’d like to show.

I will really be sad to see him leave. The show will not be the same without him. I think he is a very important character in the show.
