CBS recently introduced a new sitcom to their Monday night line-up called Mad Love. It revolves around a couple who pretty quickly fall in love with one another. Unfortunately, the ratings are another story and the TV show looks likely to be cancelled.
What can you do? Remember, the ideal scenario for CBS is for many millions of people to watch the show on their television sets, while it’s being broadcast. Unfortunately, ratings are put together based on a sampling of viewers. If you’re a “Nielsen household,” your viewing is being counted. If not, well, it’s not.
However, if you like Mad Love and want to see it continue, there are a few things you can do to help.
- If you’re a Nielsen family, watch the show whenever it’s on. If not, watch it on CBS.com or purchase episodes online so your viewing will be counted directly. Encourage others to watch the show. You might know a Nielsen family and not be aware of it.
- Talk about the show with others; at school, at work, online, or wherever. Creating a buzz about a show that you’re invested in gets other people interested and might help bring former viewers back.
- Sign the petition below and encourage others to do the same.
- Write to the network. Be respectful. Everyone responds better to courtesy. Tell them how much you enjoy the show, that you’ve signed the petition, and that you want to see it continue. - Take note of the products that are advertised during the show. Write the advertisers and tell them that you appreciate their sponsoring the show and that you buy their products (if you do).

absolutely loved the show, over here on comedy central i havent been able to take my eyes of the show, great plot and meaning portrayed by brilliant actors, WE WANT MORE!!!

Hey, we have just got the series over here on Comedy Central. I was really disappointed when I read online that it was cancelled after one series. It is an awesome show! Right from the start I loved it. It seems like a massive shame to be gone so soon, I would love to see how the story ends

I absolutely loved this show, the dynamics between Larry and Connie kept me on the edge of my seat...The lead male was so convincing in his role I completely forgot he was one of the major characters in American Pie...I have watched every single episode on my Android on DroidTV and I am simply praying that somebody, anybody (meaning TV networks) pick up this show and give me and apparently all these loyal fans MORE, MORE, and MORE (at least 3 seasons) of this awesome show

First of all, Mad Love was a sweet show that made me laugh. I don't think any show should be cancelled prior to season 2 starting because it takes a full season to really get into the groove - watchers, actors, producers, directors, advertisers alike. However, that being said, if you feel the need to cancel a show, then the very least you could do is run one more wrap up episode that provides closure to those of us watching it. Without us, you would not have a job. We should really be considered.

Please bring it back. There are so many bad new sitcoms that the networks are trying to make us choke down. This was one of the few hits that could have lasted.

Being that I work full time during the day and go to night school Monday through Friday this was always one of the first shows I would watch on DVR because it was o e of my favorites. With technology today we need to get rid of Nielson ratings as they so not represent the general public
