Despite having low ratings, it looks like ABC’s Mistresses might end up getting renewed for a second season anyway.
TVLine reports that the network has quietly extended their options on the show’s core cast through the end of September.
While the Monday night drama could still be cancelled, this move means that ABC hasn’t given up on Mistresses just yet and likely wants to see how the whole season performs before making a decision.
Mistresses has been averaging a 1.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.84 million total viewers. The most recent installment hit a series low with a 1.0 rating and 3.47 million.
The network ordered 13 episodes and the last of them will air on September 9th.

How do you know? prove it
How can you prove an opinion? To me,it sucks. Though you cannot make personal thoughts as the truth, it can be inferred that the show is struggling because if it wasn’t it would be very certain that it would be renewed. For the time being,the show is being put on probation and judging by a couple of episodes of it,I can see why.

It surprised me how much I love this show! And cripes, ABC, it just STARTED, give it a chance! The network execs need to have their lobotomies reversed.
