What’s This TV Show About?
An Amazon comedy drama, Mozart in the Jungle stars Gael García Bernal, Lola Kirke, Malcolm McDowell, Bernadette Peters, Saffron Burrows, and Hannah Dunne. Guest stars in season four include Debra Monk, Masi Oka, Michael Emerson, and John Cameron Mitchell. In this installment Rodrigo (García Bernal) strives to maintain his inspiration, and Hailey (Kirke) is fighting to prove herself, professionally. Meanwhile, they go public with their relationship. Also, Gloria (Peters) feels challenged, when Thomas (McDowell) joins a Brooklyn start-up orchestra.

Unless they decide to publicize viewership, it is hard to predict whether Amazon will cancel or renew Mozart in the Jungle for a fifth season. Abosolutely renew! Everyone I knew (and strangers) kept telling me to watch- and I blitzed out the whole thing! Renewed my love for classical music after Hailey-like constant practice and striving in my childish through university symphony. I am so enamored with Rodrigo and with the Hailey /Rodrigo humor and chemistry I watched season 4 all over again (except the tea ceremony). I can’t accept her breakup with him nor can I possibly go back to endless seasons of zombies and worms crawling into eyeballs (The Strain). Please continue this show for MANY seasons!! It has delightful humor as well as wonderful life messages, and an excellent example of living for the arts. The arts are so important to education. Any way to expose more people to the concepts is a great idea!

I love Mozart in the Jungle. As a classically trained musician, this is a show I can relate to . There has never before been a series like it. It’s brilliant, it’s funny and I love the characters. I hope there are many more seasons to come .
