No, You Shut Up! is shutting down. Paul F. Tompkins, host of the Fusion series, says the weekly talk show is cancelled, Splitsider reports.
Produced by The Jim Henson Company, No, You Shut Up! features Tompkins and a panel of puppets discussing current events. Previous guests have included Jack Black, Bryan Fuller, Kristen Schaal, and “Weird Al” Yankovic.
On his Tumblr, Tompkins announced the cancellation, saying the series was ending only a quarter into its fourth season:
On Friday afternoon, I got a phone call from our producers at The Henson company, telling me that No, YOU Shut Up! had been canceled by the Fusion network after three-and-a-quarter seasons.
It has been my privilege to work alongside the people who made this show happen every week. I am proud of the work we’ve done. The show really made me laugh!”
What do you think? Did you watch No, You Shut Up!? Are you sad it’s ending? Do you think it should continue elsewhere?
This show literally had zero exposure. For such a funny show. I found it by accident and I’m telling everyone about it. Everyone hates me for telling me about it, it’s like Dude! I already have to watch 7 seasons of game of thrones, and now this? Not cool.
