On Perception, Doctor Daniel Pierce (Eric McCormack) is an eccentric neuroscience professor who suffers from paranoid schizophrenia. As he helps solve complex cases for the FBI, Daniel sometimes sees things that aren’t there. More importantly, TNT’s hoping enough viewers will “be there” to give the series strong enough ratings to support a second season renewal.
Others in the TV show’s cast include Rachael Leigh Cook, Arjay Smith, Kelly Rowan, and LeVar Burton.

The best thing since sliced bread lol
I’m sorry that some people are offended by the character cursing God / not believing in God.
But this is a character, not a real person. People should have more respect for Freedom of Religion — even the right to be an atheist or agnositc. The point in the story was the irony of a character cursing God, when he did not believe in God.
Please renew this show — it’s intelligent and substantial. Most shows are typical fare, superficial and not that interesting.
I love show that feature characters that are complicated, complex — and struggling with their inner demons. These are the best protagonists, because they are more heroic and more realistic, more human at the same time.
@L even Jesus Christ questioned God, what christian hasn’t at one point or another and is more supreme then he? I hate when people get to big for their britches and over compensate for their failings through religion. It’s there as a rubric not a rule, otherwise people would still own slaves, believe in fake medicines, etc grow some common sense.
It should be cancelled! No show has the right to ‘curse’ GOD!

I was changing channels and stopped on “Perception”. I heard him curse God. He called him an “a hole.” This is unaccptable! If he had cursed another entity or made fun of a ehtnic group, it would have made news and ratings would drop. I think people better think about what they support and what is just not right. I SO HOPE , this does not make it.
Why should one fictional character cursing another fictional character make you so upset?

I really hope this show isn’t cancelled. I absolutely LOVE it! It’s a great show . There is a whole group that we gather to watch it every week…ages range from 18-75. Non College & College students, Professors, Grad Students, & of course the every day hard working people who love this show! Please don’t cancel it!
