TV show description:
This dramatic science-fiction TV series explores the question “What would you do without it all?” A family struggles to reunite in an American landscape where every single piece of technology — computers, refrigerators, air conditioners, planes, cars, phones, lights — has mysteriously stopped working. Electrical power has simply gone away. The show also revolves around the idea of family — both the family you’re born into and the family you choose.
Charlie Matheson (Tracy Spiridakos) is the headstrong, curious and daring daughter of Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) and Ben Matheson (Tim Guinee). Ben is hiding a mysterious secret about the blackout. Maggie (Anna Lise Phillips), a medical doctor, became involved with him following his wife’s death.
When Charlie’s younger and thoughtful brother, Danny (Graham Rogers), is kidnapped by militia leaders, she must reconnect with her estranged uncle Miles Matheson (Billy Burke), a former US Marine and warrior who’s living as a recluse.
Together, with a rogue band of survivors, they set out to rescue Danny, overthrow the militia and ultimately re-establish the United States of America. All the while, they explore the enduring mystery of why the power failed and how or if it will ever return.
The rebel group includes fighter Nora (Daniella Alonso); General “Bass” Monroe (David Lyons), a former Marine who served alongside Miles; and Aaron (Zak Orth), a former Google executive and a computer genius who’s ill-prepared for the rigors of the technology-less world.
Captain Tom Neville (Giancarlo Esposito), a cultured former insurance adjuster turned Monroe Republic leader and Nate Walker (JD Pardo) is a member of the militia who has conflicted feelings for Charlie.
Episode #42 — Declaration of Independence
Miles (Billy Burke), Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) and Monroe (David Lyons) launch an attack on the Patriots, but must improvise a risky new plan in order to halt the oncoming war between California and Texas. Out for revenge, Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) sets his sights on President Davis (guest star Cotter Smith). Meanwhile, Aaron (Zak Orth) and Rachel’s (Elizabeth Mitchell) efforts to save Priscilla (guest star Maureen Sebastian) from the nano-tech has unexpected consequences.
First aired: May 21, 2014.
What do you think? Do you like the Revolution TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for another season?
I *LOVE* Revolution….how are they going to wrap up everything in the last 2 episodes? they obviously won’t, so we, the viewers, are screwed again…thanks a lot NBC 😛
Why do any of us bother with NBC, I just started watching revolution and its a great show, the reason is I have never watched the show and I already know what’s going on. That has to do with great writing, if these Guys did not know how to write like this I would be clueless about show….GREAT WRITING GUYS. Now with that said, NBC could care less what we think… so I don’t want it canceled ,,,,…..,,,, they the butts at NBC HAVE DECIDED for us.
Best show on TV. Great characters and writing. Please do not cancel.
You have it listed has not canceled but have a series finale listed. Is it canceled?
Yes, sorry about the confusion. It’s been a very busy couple days and I missed changing the status in that spot.
Yes, and shame on NBC for canceling. Bunch of idiots.
Agree. Hope another network picks it up and NBC realizes what they gave up.
if they cancel this show they do not no good TV its on of the best shows on the channel their are over 78 people in my employment that watch this show never miss it my self have the tape from 1st season dummies biggest on ever
I really enjoy the show Revolution,Please do not cancel.
Revolution better not be canceled ! Its the only show I watch on NBC and the only show that I DVR period ! We love this show at our house and were not pleased with the long break between seasons or the break for the olympics. Its a great show and we would miss it dearly..
We enjoy this show very much, we tape it if we have to go somewhere else. I am very disappointed in this news. All these actors are great..
I like the show and it’s stars. I show had some spots that wasn’t to good but most of the show was very interesting and keep you thinking what was going to happen next.
I love this show!! Incredible theme that constantly twists and turns!! I like the similar character development as Lost!…with all the chaos there’s always the glimmer of hope!! Revolution always stays on my mind. NBC needs to realize what a gem they have. It should be at the 9:00 slot. More viewers would tune in at 9:00. Most of the shows on tv are boring and dumbed down !!!!
It is one of only three shows we watch on tv ! Please dont cancel. How will they possibly end it? Or just leave it hanging?
Love this show. I agree though that if NBC doesn’t have the foresight to keep this on, my power for them will be going out forever. They just keep canceling good shows.
If this gets canceled I will turn off the lights in NBC HQ
Please please keep this show on!!!!
It seems all the best shows are at risk of cancellation and I have to speak up.
Love this show! Please don’t cancel!
