Will Sense8 be back for a third season? Deadline reports Netflix has reached out to the main cast for another season of the series.
From The Wachowskis, the sci-fi drama follows eight strangers who are mentally and emotionally linked. The cast includes Tina Desai, Miguel Angel Silvestre, Jamie Clayton, Tuppence Middleton, Donna Bae, Brian J. Wright, Max Riemelt, and Toby Onwumere.
While the actors’ contracts have already expired, Netflix had reportedly offered the core cast new options for a potential third season. According to Deadline, half of the main eight have already closed a deal for the new season and the other half are still in negotiations.
Netflix has not yet confirmed there will be a third season of Sense8. Season two debuts on May 5th.

Just decided to give this series a try at two years after the fact and was now hoping for a season 3. Badly disappointed. !!!. There are so many tried and overworked types of Series and dramas. this was really original .. actually incomparable!. More like this would be great!
It’s the best series out there. The story line is fantastic. The entire cast is amazing! It’s great to watch a program without zombies, vampires, cops, doctors or politians.
What I hate most is when they cancel a show without conclusions, I think it is a lack of respect for the audience.
So disappointed to learn Sense8 is cancelled. An inventive, creative, exhilarating series…have to think Netflix is blowing it by not giving fans a 3rd season and a chance to tie up storylines. Had hoped Sense8 would go on and on.
I LOVE this show! Like Staci Drake said, the dialogue is great, and the chemistry between the actors is awesome!! It cannot end like it is, too much has been put into this show. The characters inspire such love and happiness in me, no show has ever touched my emotionally like this one has!!
I would love to see a third and even a fourth season out of this series. Admittedly I initially was not into the show, but as the series progressed and expanded I’ve grown more interested in it. I want to see what happens next especially since the second season ends the way it does.
I fell in love with Sence 8 from the very first episode. This is an amazing dialogue filled with drama and controversy. I have fallen in love with the roles these actors and actresses are playing. Please make at least two more series so we can fully live out the storyline.
