It seems that we haven’t seen the last of the POstables. Hallmark Channel has announced that the cable channel is developing a new Signed, Sealed, Delivered movie. A timetable for the new project has not been released.
As Signed, Sealed, Delivered fans know, the franchise began as a two-hour movie in 2013. It did well enough for Hallmark to order a 10 episode TV series which aired in 2014. Rather than continue as a weekly show, Hallmark opted to go back to the movie format and, to date, has aired 11 two-hour films.
Here’s the press release from Hallmark:
A NEW INSTALLMENT OF FAN-FAVORITE ‘SIGNED, SEALED, DELIVERED’ FROM EXECUTIVE PRODUCER MARTHA WILLIAMSON IN DEVELOPMENT FOR HALLMARK DRAMA
Stars Eric Mabius, Kristin Booth, Crystal Lowe and Geoff Gustafson to Return
Hallmark Drama is developing another installment of the fan-favorite movie franchise, “Signed, Sealed, Delivered,” created by “Touched by an Angel” executive producer Martha Williamson. The announcement was made today as part of Crown Media Family Networks’ bi-annual Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour.
“Signed, Sealed, Delivered” is a comedic drama franchise that follows the lives of postal workers – known as the POstables – who transform themselves into an untraditional team of detectives to track down intended recipients of undeliverable mail. Their missions take them out of the office into an unpredictable world where redirected letters and packages can save lives, solve crimes, reunite old loves and change futures by arriving late but somehow on time.
“We’re thrilled to be able to give the devoted fans of ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered’ a new adventure so we can continue the story of the POstables,” said Michelle Vicary, Executive Vice President, Programming and Network Publicity, Crown Media Family Networks. “The emotional and heartfelt stories the talented Martha Williamson tells are a perfect fit for our newest network, Hallmark Drama.”
What do you think? Have you enjoyed the Signed, Sealed, Delivered movies? Are you looking forward to seeing another?
Love Signed, Sealed, Delivered! Wonderful show with interesting but fun stories and characters who have good moral compasses without being silly. Please keep the show going even if only one a year. It is refreshing especially during these negative times.
I think that it is a wonderful set of movies. love the characters and the theme
YES, YES, YES!
I love this show and the characters..looking forward to not only the next movie .but hopefully many more to come …..#Postables
I love the series and look forward to more, I Iive in Canada and we dont get the Hallmark channel
I LOVE these movies and the series!! I wish it would be a weekly series or go back to more frequent movies. There’s still so many more story lines that could keep fans coming back for more not to mention the love story side of their relationships. There’s not a lot of wholesome shows on tv today and this is an exciting show with life lesson, and I LOVE the religious factor, the reference to God and the Bible. Please give us more movies or bring back the series (like When Calls the Heart)! I LOVE HALLMARK SHOWS AND MOVIES!… Read more »
I love the series but would like to see it on Hallmark Channel or Hallmark Movies and Mysteries. I do not get Hallmark Drama.
Yes!! Glad to hear we will see more of the Postables in 2019!
This is one of my favorites. The characters are all unique and blend well!
Such feel good movies. More of these are needed today to remind all of us that care, love and time to reflect are some of the most valuable values that we must hold on to.
We are really looking forward to more episodes!!! Please don’t move it to the drama channel!!! We don’t have that channel!
Who can I contact if I have an idea for an episode of Signed, Sealed, Delivered? It would be a Great story!
