It seems that we haven’t seen the last of the POstables. Hallmark Channel has announced that the cable channel is developing a new Signed, Sealed, Delivered movie. A timetable for the new project has not been released.
As Signed, Sealed, Delivered fans know, the franchise began as a two-hour movie in 2013. It did well enough for Hallmark to order a 10 episode TV series which aired in 2014. Rather than continue as a weekly show, Hallmark opted to go back to the movie format and, to date, has aired 11 two-hour films.
Here’s the press release from Hallmark:
A NEW INSTALLMENT OF FAN-FAVORITE ‘SIGNED, SEALED, DELIVERED’ FROM EXECUTIVE PRODUCER MARTHA WILLIAMSON IN DEVELOPMENT FOR HALLMARK DRAMA
Stars Eric Mabius, Kristin Booth, Crystal Lowe and Geoff Gustafson to Return
Hallmark Drama is developing another installment of the fan-favorite movie franchise, “Signed, Sealed, Delivered,” created by “Touched by an Angel” executive producer Martha Williamson. The announcement was made today as part of Crown Media Family Networks’ bi-annual Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour.
“Signed, Sealed, Delivered” is a comedic drama franchise that follows the lives of postal workers – known as the POstables – who transform themselves into an untraditional team of detectives to track down intended recipients of undeliverable mail. Their missions take them out of the office into an unpredictable world where redirected letters and packages can save lives, solve crimes, reunite old loves and change futures by arriving late but somehow on time.
“We’re thrilled to be able to give the devoted fans of ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered’ a new adventure so we can continue the story of the POstables,” said Michelle Vicary, Executive Vice President, Programming and Network Publicity, Crown Media Family Networks. “The emotional and heartfelt stories the talented Martha Williamson tells are a perfect fit for our newest network, Hallmark Drama.”
What do you think? Have you enjoyed the Signed, Sealed, Delivered movies? Are you looking forward to seeing another?
Signed, Sealed, Delivered is a series that my wife and I continue to enjoy watching together. We don’t normally watch a lot of programs together but there’s something about this series that is very special to us. Every once in a while you encounter a series that is done “just right”. The story lines, characters and actors are GREAT !! I think Kristin Booth does an exceptional job of acting with her eyes and facial expressions. Please keep up the good work !!
Glenn, My husband and I feel the same. We have thoroughly enjoyed both the series and movies. Patiently waiting for Oliver and Shane’s wedding.
Finally got my husband to watch the movies and he lives them as much as I do. Would you consider making it a series again. Only one movie a year is t enough.
Have enjoyed all past episodes from the beginning but seamed to have missed 2019 episode on Dish Network hoping it will be shown soon. The movies are excellent, delightful stories.
Believe there were no new movies in 2019. As I recall “Norman & Rita’s” wedding was filmed in 2018 and that was the final movie. I mentioned above we are now waiting for Oliver & Shane’s wedding.
I just found these movies after watching the TV series. I cried during ALL of them! Such a great writer and the actors are PERFECT for their parts! I need more POstables on my life!!! PLEASE AND THANK YOU!
Love this series! Hope it continues for a long time to come! It’s so hard to find a wholesome movie nowdays! Thank you!
Just was introduced to this very entertaining and well done show. Stories are so mterestimg and enjoyable to watch. Please keep them on the Hallmark programming schedule.
I was hooked after the recent Signed marathon. Will it be run again ?
Will the Signed Sealed marathon be shown any time in the future ?
I love love love the show. All the subtle references and call backs to books and scripture are excellent. The cast works so well together. I like that you have not added unnecessary “cast” drama to the mix. thank you
Loved the entire series and the amazing acting and emotional sharing. Would not be interested in a movie without the original cast!
Love the original cast from the TV series but would not be interested in a movie of the same name with a different cast
I love Signed Sealed and Delivered!! How can I see the Christmas Show? Will there be any more movies?
We just discovered SSD, and it is our family’s favorite movie series of all time.
Yes, please, more SSD!
Yes, please more Postables and the “Wedding of Christin B and Eric M” would be a great start!!!!!!!
I am in love with this wonderful series and the characters! When will the next movie be out? Where can I purchase seasons of the series? Please do more. Favorite TV series of all time!
I am a huge fan of Signed, Sealed and Delivered. I want to watch the series/movies in chronological order. I’ve watched the series released by Hallmark via my On Demand station but I think I’ve missed some movies. Eagerly await the next. Appreciate the creative script, the acting quality and especially the inclusion of faith in God message.
I would like to know when signed sealed and delivered is going to be shown on TV I miss it I love the series and they haven’t had one on since 2017? I’d like to know what channel it’s going to come on or if it’s going to be on the regular Hallmark channel? it’s a fabulous series and I miss it. I’d like to know why spectrum hasn’t picked up Hallmark drama if that’s the channel it’s going to come on. But it should come on the regular Hallmark channel like before I pay for both of them I… Read more »
