AMC has a new father for The Son. Deadline reports Carlos Bardem has been cast in the network’s new series.
The drama is based on Philipp Meyer’s novel of the same name.
In The Son, Bardem will play the head of one of Texas’ last great dynasties. The series will chronicle the family’s multi-generational rise and fall throughout American history. This is the first American role for Bardem.
Filming on The Son is set to begin this summer, with a premiere slated for 2017.
What do you think? Have you read The Son? Will you watch the series?
I Loved. Loved the show. I always have been a Musketeers fan. The characters were so perfectly matched, especially the Musketeers OMG! Every last one was handsome strong, sexy and dreamy! The villains too. Each of their story so unique. The final episode was very entertaining full of action and all kinds of emotion. I would like yo see another season or at least a 2-hour movie to see them reuniting before they get too old, with their families where they are asked to reunite to save France from one final medieval crisis. Great Show BBC!
It is a little slow, but I must keep watching.
