TV show description:
A drama, this TV series revolves around a multi-ethnic family — a mix of foster and biological kids who are being raised by two moms.
Stef Foster (Teri Polo) is a dedicated police officer and her partner, Lena Adams (Sherri Saum), is a school Vice Principal. Together, they’ve built a close-knit, loving family with Stef’s biological son from a previous marriage, Brandon (David Lambert), and their adopted twins, Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) and Jesus (Jake T. Austin).
Their lives are disrupted in unexpected ways when Lena meets Callie (Maia Mitchell). She’s a hardened teen with an abusive past who’s spent her life in and out of foster homes. Lena and Stef warily welcome Callie into their home thinking it will just be for a few weeks, until a more permanent placement can be found.
Callie is quick to observe that the Fosters are an atypical family, and her blunt commentary hits a nerve with Jesus and Mariana who are struggling to find their own identities. The twins have the opportunity to meet their birth mother, but they aren’t sure if they are emotionally ready, or if they want to share the experience with their adoptive moms. Callie also discovers that Mariana is harboring a secret that could land her in serious trouble.
Brandon is a talented musician with a kind soul. He lends Callie a hand in navigating the classrooms and social scene at the Fosters’ high school, Anchor Beach Community Charter School. He’s faced with a tough decision however when Callie decides to ditch school to reconnect with someone from her past.
What happens next determines if Stef and Lena made the right choice in taking a chance on Callie, and whether they have room in their home — and their hearts — for one more.

What do you think? Do you like The Fosters TV series? Do you think it should be ending or renewed for a sixth season?
So its took me two days to finish it my friend kept telling me to watch it and i did once i finished i just wanted to know if it finished its a really good show, i think they should make more seasons!
It appears all of our writing in about the show has helped. I saw on TV today that it is coming back January 19th.
I found this show on Netflix. IT had great reviews, so I thought I would watch. I think this show is great. It is relevant, promotes tolerance on so many levels. I like the dynamics between the family members.
I agree with Linda Switzer. Please do not cancel. The Fosters give insight into a number of issues that are very relevant in today’s society. I admire the writers and actors for bring this show forward and I trust it will continue to be current and regular for years.
Don’t cancel this show. It’s a really good show with real issues and the results of what can happen in the real world.
Great show..can’t wait to see where they will be going with this…”Moms’ are completely beyond any mom I have ever known..handle all trouble and problems with such ease..but the kids are realistic and likeable, even when they are doing dumb things…keep it coming!
Gotta say the ‘moms” are quite extraordinary and probably don’t exists anywhere in the world…(meaning the way they handle all the problems and troouble their adopted kids and natural son get into..) but I do love the show, and would like to see it continue..so much more to be explored!
PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL THIS SHOW I LOVE WHO CARES WHAT PEOPLE MAKE A SEASON THREE PLEASE
Please do not cancel The Fosters. A great show on many levels
Please do not cancel this show! It is a breath of fresh air in TV programs that only deal with Criminal Activities and often non-realistic situations. This is a Very Realistic Family Drama and well-done!!
I have never laught and cried so much watching a show.
This show is refreshing and delightful. I was hesitant to watch the show because i thought it would be sappy or stupid sitcom comedy. It was not. The Foster’s is a show that reflects modern day issues which are real and everyone should watch, if for no other reason to see how CPS really fails the children it is supposed to be helping. However, the show has even more to offer. It would be great if there were more seasons that demonstrate good values and morals in the 21st century. I know that I am totally sick of the usual… Read more »
Please do not cancel this show. I am a former teacher. I feel that this show brings up important issues that should be discussed. The actors are talented and the dialogue is realistic and intelligent.
PLEASE don’t cancel this show! It has a beautiful story line. It can relate to so many people in so many ways! I would love for Robert to adopt Callie. Callie and Brandon belong together and I would love to see their relationship bloom!
The fosters is my favorite T.V series ever you should definitely renew it and keep join it is so good and things are really getting good and we really want to see callie get adopted at least by somebody even if it is Robert so yes I really really want it to continue me and my sisters love this show.
Please do not cancel this series. We love this show, the stories, acting and interest in LGBT issues in general are so needed in today’s world. The talented young folks on this program bring so much reality to life for the modern family. Please bring them back!
i love this show me and my kids and grandkids watch it. please renew for another season
