The Game petition

It’s no secret that The Game is on some very thin ice right now. It’s been pulling low ratings in its Friday night timeslot and by all accounts, the CW network is getting out of the sitcom business. With just 66 episodes, it looks unlikely that the series would have much future in syndication either.

If you’d like the sitcom to continue, there are a few things you can do to support it.

Watch The Game “live” on Friday nights. Encourage your friends and family to do the same — one might secretly be a Nielsen household. Viewers are the most important thing to the network because, with more viewers, they’re able to charge more for their advertising.

Sign the petition below. Pass the word around and encourage others to do the same.

Write to the network, either by email or, preferably by regular mail (Ms. Dawn Ostroff, President of The CW, 3300 W. Olive Avenue, Burbank, CA 91505, RE: The Game). Be courteous and polite. Tell them why you love the show and would like to see it continue. Mention the products that you see advertised during the show and which ones that you like to buy.

If you’re really industrious, do some research and write to the advertisers directly. Tell them that you appreciate their help in making The Game possible.

But hurry, time is running out.

It's a good show. We fought to get it back. Lots of people will continue to watch even without Derwin and Melanie. Pump up Malek's role, bring Kelly back and Tasha's love interest Rick Fox. There are a lot of things you can explore.

Please do not cancell The Game, it's such a Great show. It would be ashame that the network wants to consider canceling this show. Just do the fans a favor and keep the show going.

I am writing to support The Game tv show, all of the characters each speak to each and everyone of us in one way or another. This season my favorite couple is Jason and Chardonnay, I am glad to see another side of Jason, it was refreshing. I do miss Kelly from the show. Tasha and Rick Foxx and or Coach T also were a good story line. I looking forward to viewing the show each week and discussing it at work the next day with my coworkers. Give the show another season please.

I have been a viewer since the first season. why i love this show is because it is very funny, interesting, and it is touching emotionally. This romantic comedy is realistic because of it's great actors they really play the part! I am a big fan of your advertisements. Please allow The Game to continue. There aren't to many shows that we are able to watch as a family. We understand that rating are a big deal and that's what allows a program to continue but as a family there are to many programs that we can watch on television as a family so please don't cancel this program.

HiYA! Thought today i would just go online and enquire to see whats the latest goings on with the series show The Game.... I was quite disappointed to learn that my favourite show had been chanceled"! I actually got hooked on this show by accident while on a visit to america... i was there for a good month and so it was enough time to totally follow enough of the show to make me once returned back home here in England uk... go online and watch and follow all the previous epids. that i had missed. Once seeing them all it added to the passion i had for this show. Here in England we have very little control to what is show on our tv. Furthermore it is overal very limited in reflecting real life situations and relationships in a positive way incl. young attractive black professionals. This show is quite a unique relevant contribution to Good exciting quality tv air time and the writers, producers and actors should be commended on their spectacular efforts to bring forth the very best of tv for not only people of colour but also very relevant to young people of the 21st century... deserved to be highly regarded alongside the likes of The Cosby Show and Fresh Prince of Bel air which in my opinion were fantastic in their own right.. legionary. The Game had and has the potential to be regarded as such also. By the way my friends here and in America... .20s and 30 somethings and my aunties and mother! and i had watched and followed the series up as for as it was allowed to go. Good programme bring it back!... will help to make society a better place as it tackles real issues with levels of integrated good moral and values that is lacking in most aired programmes today. Anyway please try and bring this show back... makesure if you do a trial run that viewers know when it is to be aired limited infor. will reflect in low viewing numbers. I am not very big on watching large doses of television; however, since 2007, which was the beginning of the series, The Game, I have been glued to the television on it's scheduled nights. I have watched all re-runs, marathons and then some. I am a huge Derwin and Med school fan!!!! I am always on the edge of my seat, waiting to check out what's new with upcoming series. I have come to look forward to watching each and every episode. I have scheduled my study and exercise times around the Tuesday night episodes. I really would like to see Derwin (Ding Dong) and Med School has a fair chance at love; although mu belief is that drama will surround much of their relationship. Please don't misunderstand; all of the other characters interest me as well. Tasha is certainly a highlight as she brings mature ghetto at it's finest to the television series. I love Malik and Jason for opposite reasons, yet similar. I actually like Jason and Kelly together instead of apart. There is a certain level of interracial- marriage drama that comes to life through the two of them being a couple. The Game is an awesome spin off of the series, Girlfriends, which i wish would come back as well! I will continue to tune in.

The Game is a great show, I was so sad when I heard the show was cancelled. I love all the cast members, keep Darwin and Melanie together, would like to see Jason and Kelly re-unite.
