On The Strain, a team of disease control experts are called in to investigate when a plane lands in New York with 200 corpses on board. They soon discover that a viral outbreak has begun that could overtake humanity. The large cast includes Corey Stoll, David Bradley, Kevin Durand, Mía Maestro, Jonathan Hyde, Richard Sammel, Miguel Gomez, Natalie Brown, Jack Kesy, Sean Astin, and Robert Maillet.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

I love this show its different form others. And it’s an entirely different take on vampire shows they have been done it’s time for the gore to come bac km to tv.

I love this show!!!! It of course has it moments like any show does. However it does keep you guessing, I didn’t think for a second that Kelly would get infected seeing that worm make its way into her eye that was freaky. I have to watch the show in complete darkness because I actually find it a little scary and I LOVE THAT does not happen very often anymore. Love this series, great story great acting / actors, it always keepsvyou wondering whats next, never predictable! I don’t ever want it to end!

I’m glad it renewed for a 2nd season. It does move a little slow at times, but its compelling enough to keep me coming back weekly…
please keep the show on!!!! its awesome… some cheeziness here and there but overall its a 3.5 out of 4 stars…clearly need to keep it going.
I love the characters and their quirks… beautiful girls, nice kids, really ugly bad guys… its a TV show …don’t get too serious people…sit back and let it scare you.
I read the summaries of the books so I would love to see how that gets created on TV…WOW is all i can say if they do it right!!
This show is horrendous, the plot intrigued my husband and I, however as the series progressed we have become disinterested and bored, as a matter of fact I am writing this as I am watching the show… The story line progresses about as fast as a game of chess. There are multiple holes on the story line as well…. unrealistic and the actors are c level at best. When I watch The Strain (and I love this show), it reminds me of what will happen when crazy liberal monsters suck the life out of America and its wonderful people, leaving empty shells of all of those they affect… only liberals are worse than the monsters in The Strain.

I’m loving the show. Great idea. I love the twist on an old subject & plot; it is very creative; the acting is well done. I most makes you think, “could something like that happen”. I sincerely hope we get another season. At the very least.
