Consistently excellent show, adaptation from award-winning writer Elmore Leonard’s Fire in the Hole. The writing, acting and characterization is brilliant, tight, fast-moving and yet has, as the previous poster said, a comedic edge of sarcasm that gives it an interesting little twist.

Its dark and light at the same time, always holds your interest. I can’t see anyone else playing the handsome Raylan and indeed, Walt Goggins as the Sheriff adds gravitas and a fatherly edge to Raylan’s lethally efficient, cocky, bad*** personality.

This is to Kentucky Law vs. all kinds of Bad guys what (on The Wire) Baltimore’s finest were to Drug trade. The complexity of the characters (Walt Goggins is amazing!) is interwoven with sharp comedic scripts that always leave handsome Raylan coming out victorious. For the most part, the female characters are well played. The writers kept Winona at arms length , but Ava is always in someone’s mix. This show should NOT be canceled!
