The Alpha House TV show on Amazon is effectively cancelled, but at yesterday’s TCA press session, Amazon Studio boss Roy Price chose to categorize it as not being a “current” show. That said, there is a chance Garry Trudeau’s Capitol Hill comedy, starring John Goodman, could be renewed for a third season. Matt Malloy, Clark Johnson, Mark Consuelos, Yara Martinez, Julie White, and Alicia Sable, also star.
Should political events inspire another season, assuming the cast and crew were available, Alpha House could return one day in the hazy future. “I like to leave my options open, but I understand what you’re saying,” Deadline reports Price said, in response to critics’ frustration about Alpha House‘s nebulous status.
The second season of Alpha House premiered on Amazon on Friday, October 24, 2014. In January of this year, we reported that Price had met with Trudeau, but that the fate of Alpha House season three still needed to be resolved.

I just recently discovered this show and truly enjoyed watching it in my spare time. I am disgusted to find out there is no season 3! I haven’t been this hurt since the sudden cancellation of the new Dallas. I guess I better start researching my shows prior to watching them.
I see no one has posted here for over a year. I just finished watching both seasons on Prime. It is a Great comedy series with an outstanding cast. Were it to have been on network tv I’m sure it would still be running.Come on Amazon, if the cast can be assembled still, let’s get this thing going.
Husband and I are Republicans and love this show!! Please bring it back…..was startled to be left hanging at the wedding scene….not fair. Loved all the actors, especially John Goodman and his room mates…..
Just watched the last episode in January of 2018. Love the show! Very disappointed more seasons are not to come. With the current state of drama the past year on Capitol Hill, I can see the difficulty in writing a satirical comedy that surpasses reality.
My Husband and I love the show and are sorry to see there are just two seasons. Please consider a third season!
I just binge watched 2 seasons of Alpha House and I want more, REALLY! It’s funny, smart and really well written, very well acted. This is great TV. Please create Season 3.

Why start these great shows and then pull them in the middle of a storyline? So tired of the reality shows. This show was a pleasant surprise.

Just finished watching the second season. I found extremely funny and my do we all need some fun in this world. Why would anyone just stop such a good show. Come on Amazon you are better than that. Keep Alpha House going.
We recently turned off our satellite TV and found Alpha House on Amazon Prime. The country needs this program more now than ever. Please, please BRING ALPHA HOUSE back!!!!
