Ironically or not, sometimes scripted Lifetime TV series don’t have a very long lifespan. Enter the American Princess TV show — the cable network’s latest offering at the altar of the Nielsen ratings. Does it have what it takes to score a return engagement? A Lifetime comedy-drama, American Princess stars Georgia Flood, Lucas Neff, Seana Kofoed, Rory O’Malley, and Mary Hollis Inboden. The runaway bride series centers on Amanda Klein (Flood), who is all set to marry fiancé Brett Weinbaum (Ehrich) when she catches him in flagrante delicto with another woman. When she reacts, the other woman is injured. Positively reeling, Amanda panics, flees the wedding venue, and winds up on the grounds of a Renaissance Faire, where she decides to remain.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

Agree with all the other commenters. This is a really great show, very funny, great performances by the cast. I hope lifetime renews but at least they didn’t leave us with a big cliffhanger in case it doesn’t make a second season but I hope that it does.
I just finished binge watching the last few episodes of American Princess. I am crying and laughing both!! Such a incredible series!! So funny and touching and I am hating saying goodbye to the all of the adorable characters! Such smart, clever writing and I am so hoping someone listens and continues this series!! I hope i, along with so many others, am not disappointed!
Definitely RENEW! This is a very cute comedy that I look forward to every week and would completely watch again and again. And don’t make me wait a year or six months to see what happens to everyone as they go on with they next adventures! 🙂 All I can say is — STICK! 😀 😀

We love American Princess!. We don’t usually watch Lifetime channel and stumbled across it by accident. Lifetime should advertise it more so it gets more viewers. We’ve been to Ren Faires so maybe we appreciate the humor more than other people who haven’t been to them but AP keeps us laughing for pretty much the entire hour that it airs. We’re looking for forward to a second season and will be very sad if the show gets canceled.
