Get ready to see more bizarre foods from locations around the world. Bizarre Foods: Delicious Destinations is returning to the Travel Channel in October with a pair of episodes kicking things off. Andrew Zimmern will host the travel series.

Travel Channel shared a press release talking about the upcoming season. Check that out below.

NEW YORK (September 7, 2016) – Travel Channel’s irresistible series, “Bizarre Foods: Delicious Destinations,” returns with all-new mouthwatering morsels from around the world on Tuesday, October 4, with back-to-back episodes at 9:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. ET/PT. Hosted and executive produced by James Beard Award-winning chef and culinary explorer Andrew Zimmern, the fourth season highlights the not-to-be-missed foods that define a location. Whether it’s sinful New York cheesecake, savory pork sandwiches in Chile or Bangkok’s signature pad thai, most travelers want to experience the local favorites. But how many really know the origins of these iconic foods? Journey around the world for a firsthand tour of each city and the inside scoop behind its most beloved dishes.

“‘Bizarre Foods: Delicious Destinations’ allows my fans to see and experience the ‘must eat foods’ in cities around the world,” said Zimmern. “This show is all about showcasing the edible icons that every visitor, to a given locale, should eat before they leave. You can’t say you’ve been to Cleveland without eating a Polish Boy, can you?”

In the season premiere, Zimmern explores the country classics of Nashville, Tenn., from blazing hot chicken to cool, sweet pie. Music City mainstays include savory pork chops and heaven-sent biscuits smothered in gravy to BBQ juicy enough to make you sing. This season’s international tour explores tasty treats from a variety of destinations including Bali; Copenhagen, Denmark; Detroit; Pittsburgh; Rome; San Diego; Seoul, Korea; Vancouver, Canada and more.

Andrew Zimmern. Loved his shows. I was a very finicky eater until I shipped off to the Marine Corps, there I learned to eat the local foods of the countries I visited. Andrew is the man. My wish is to travel with him even for one day just to try some of the many foods I’ve never eaten.
